Hailee Steinfeld shared insight into her first-ever Mother’s Day on Monday with a rare glimpse of her baby girl, whose name is yet to be announced. The 29-year-old, who welcomed her first child with her husband, NFL star Josh Allen, took to Instagram to share the first look of her daughter with a photo of her tiny hand wrapped around Hailee’s finger.
In another snap, the baby was clad in a white onesie with black polka dots and strawberry designs on the feet, while a third picture saw Hailee celebrate with an array of Mother’s Day cards from her loved ones.
“A day late but simply obsessed with this,” she captioned the post, as friends and fans alike rushed to the comment section to share the love.
© Instagram“Happy New Mother’s Day!!! I am so very happy for you,” wrote her Hawkeye co-star, Jeremy Renner, while actress Rebel Wilson added: “The biggest congrats.” Hailee announced the arrival of her daughter via her Substack, Beau Society, in April.
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” she wrote. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Two months prior, Hailee opened up about mentally and emotionally preparing for their new arrival. “The most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it [and] the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day,” she wrote in her newsletter.

The Sinners star added that she and Josh were “getting ready to meet someone we already love so much…I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point.”
Josh, who is the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, shared during a press conference that there was only so much preparation to be done before their little girl arrived. “I’ve got siblings that have kids, I’ve got a lot of friends that have kids, and I don’t know if you can plan too far in advance,” he explained.

Hailee and Josh have been together since May 2023 and tied the knot two years later. The singer previously told Bustle that Josh was her “rock” and that she thanked God “every day that I found my person”.
