Viewers who tuned into ITV’s new drama, The Lady, on Sunday night have hailed the premiere episode as “brilliant”, with some binge-watching all four episodes on ITVX.  The series, which stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, fictionalises the true story of Jane Andrews, Sarah Ferguson’s royal dresser who ended up in prison for murdering her boyfriend. © James Pardon/Left BankMia McKenna-Bruce stars as Jane Andrews in the drama   The series boasts an impressive production team. Viewers who tuned into ITV’s new spy thriller, Betrayal, have wasted no time binge-watching all four episodes after Sunday night’s “brilliant” premiere.  The series, penned by David Eldridge, stars Shaun Evans as a mid-career MI5 officer, John Hughes, as he navigates a “rapidly evolving intelligence landscape” while trying to keep his home life intact, and his marriage to long-suffering wife Claire (Romola Garai) alive.  © Ben Blackall Viewers have hailed the show as “excellent” What have viewers said about the show? On Tuesday, the full, 17-judge U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit heard consolidated oral arguments in a crucial case that is all but guaranteed to make it to the Supreme Court. The predictable controversy surrounding the litigation, which involves similar but distinct mandatory Ten Commandments display laws arising out of Texas and Louisiana, is revealing as to just how far America has fallen from its founders’ vision. In 2024, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry signed into law a bill requiring that the Ten Commandments be displayed in every public school classroom — from kindergarten through the university level — throughout the state. As Landry explained at the time, “If you want to respect the rule of law, you gotta start from the original lawgiver, which was Moses.” Last year, the Lone Star State followed by passing a nearly identical statute. Texas Gov. BOSTON (AP) — Bruins forward Pavel Zacha was awarded a delayed goal after a replay review while most of the New York Rangers players were in the locker room on Saturday, thinking the first period in Boston’s 10-2 romp was over. Zacha scored three goals and Marat Khusnutdinov had four to become the first Bruins teammates ever to record a hat trick in the same game at home. It was the first time since 1964 that Boston had two players record a hat trick in the same game. But it was Zacha’s second goal that caused a strange moment in the game. With Boston skating on a two-man, power-play advantage, Zacha took a shot from the right circle and the puck trickled behind goaltender Jonathan Quick, where defenseman Braden Schneider swept it clear from the crease before it crossed the goal line.
