You can buy products from almost every tech brand on Amazon, with a couple of exceptions (more on that shortly). Obviously, Amazon’s own brands are usually in stock—Eero, Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Ring, etc. You can also find the latest products from Apple, Dyson, Samsung, Beats, Bose, Sonos, Sony, Google, Meta, Fitbit, and Therabody, to name a few. However, Amazon only has a limited selection of most non-Apple laptops, so if you’re shopping for Windows laptops from brands like HP, Dell, Asus, and Acer, you’ll have better luck elsewhere. Finally, before buying electronics on Amazon, check whether the products are sold and shipped by Amazon itself, the brand, or an unknown third-party seller (tip: search the product page for “ships by” and “sold by”). The Cannes Lions Entertainment Person of the Year 2026 isn’t a traditional Hollywood studio boss or network head. It is Eddy Cue, Apple‘s senior VP of services. The Silicon Valley powerbroker commanded the stage Monday midday at the Lumière Theatre in the Cannes Palais des Festival in a crowded keynote seminar, and he did so in tandem with a big-name Hollywood player, namely hit producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Cue oversees Apple TV, Apple Music and Apple’s film and TV studios, while also serving as senior vp of health. Among Apple’s original hit series are the likes of Pluribus, which he has touted as the “biggest series to date” for the platform and Ted Lasso. Smartphone buyers in North America are used to watching from the sidelines as emerging technologies hit new models in Europe and Asia. There’s no better example of this trend than the rise of silicon-carbon batteries, as they’re still quite rare in the U.S. Apple certainly hasn’t equipped an iPhone with the tech. Samsung, which has a heavy presence in the U.S., has shied away from transitioning to silicon-carbon batteries as well. Silicon-carbon batteries are beloved for their ability to provide higher-capacity cells in a dense package, making for longer smartphone runtimes. Apple’s annual WWDC developers conference is in the rearview mirror, but there is still a lot to look forward to over the next year and beyond. In his Power On newsletter today, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman listed around 20 products that he expects Apple to release across the remainder of 2026 and 2027. Now that the more intelligent and personal version of Siri has finally arrived in beta, a full two years after Apple first previewed it at WWDC 2024, we should begin to see some new devices that were reportedly postponed until the new Siri was ready. Beyond the usual annual updates to iPhones and Apple Watches in September, Gurman said Apple’s all-new smart home hub could still arrive this year. He is also expecting a foldable iPhone Ultra and long-awaited updates to the Apple TV and HomePod mini. And a redesigned MacBook Ultra with an OLED display is expected by early next year.
