Idaho Transgender Bathroom Bill Is the Strictest in the Nation and Likely Veto-Proof

Idaho Transgender Bathroom Bill Is the Strictest in the Nation and Likely Veto-Proof

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho lawmakers passed a sweeping bathroom ban Friday, approving legislation that would make it a crime for transgender people to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity, even inside privately owned businesses. If Republican Gov. Brad Little signs the bill, Idaho will have the strictest bathroom ban in the nation, subjecting people to time behind bars if they knowingly enter a bathroom, locker room or changing area that does not correspond with their sex assigned at birth. Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and sentenced to a year in jail for a first offense, or a felony with up to five years in prison for a second offense. Private businesses are included in Idaho’s bill At least 19 states, including Idaho, already have laws barring transgender people from using bathrooms and changing rooms that align with their gender in schools and, in some cases, other public places. The LGBTQ+ advocacy organization Movement Advancement Project’s tracking of the laws shows that three other states — Florida, Kansas and Utah — …

7 Best Shower Filters (2026), WIRED Tested and Approved

Compare Our Top Shower Filter Systems Honorable Mention Shower Filters Photograph: Matthew Korfhage HigherDose Red Light Shower Filter for $599: This shower filter is in some ways the most intriguing shower filter idea I’ve encountered in the past year—a shower filter that also incorporates a ring of lights delivering dual red and near-infrared wavelengths (650 nm and 850nm) at purported therapeutic intensity. Aside from turning your shower into a discotheque, this amounts to a time-saving measure for those who would otherwise avail themselves of red light therapy on mats or with scary-looking masks. In this case, the red light therapy happens while you shower. The 10-stage filter, in my at-home testing, was able to remove 90 percent of the total chlorine from my chloramine-treated water. We’re still testing and looking into both the filter and the red light therapy over longer-term testing, but the device is already well worth mention. Woman Wants A Divorce Because Her Husband Goes To The Bathroom In The Sink

Woman Wants A Divorce Because Her Husband Goes To The Bathroom In The Sink

A woman was encouraged to divorce her husband after he revealed the gross habit he has to save money, which has left many people repulsed. According to the husband’s since-deleted Reddit post, he pours his urine down the bathroom sink drain so he doesn’t have to flush as often. Okay, life is expensive nowadays. No one would argue with that fact. According to research by LawnStarter, the average cost of a water bill in the U.S. is $75 per month. Granted, that’s not cheap, and according to Bank of America, it’s up by around 7% from 2024. But you know what’s more expensive than the water bill? The cost of a divorce. Some things cannot be negotiated, and urine in the sink is one of them. A woman wants a divorce because her husband goes to the bathroom in the sink to save money on water. The husband doesn’t just stand at the sink like a urinal, thank goodness, but his explanation isn’t much better. Apparently, he pees in a cup and dumps it into the …

Nearly 75% Of Men Have This Gross Habit And Women Are Fed Up

Women of the world, one of your biggest bugaboos is coming to light: A survey found that nearly 75% of men are making a mess of the bathroom because they refuse to sit down to pee.  Whenever I had friends over as a kid, the day would always end with my mom having a meltdown about “why your friends’ mothers don’t teach them not to pee all over my bathroom!” If you’re a woman in a relationship with a man, you are likely yelling, “Exactly!” Is the tide (of pee) finally turning? A survey shows nearly 75% of men prefer to stand when they pee. The data comes from venerable polling agency YouGov, which, after being playfully taken to task for never having delved into the eternal issue of men seemingly being unable to not drench every bathroom they enter with urine as if they have a firehose in their pants, decided to finally crunch the data. The results are actually pretty surprising! YouGov polled 13 different countries to see where on Earth men are …

This $35 gadget finally fixed the musty smell in my bathroom

It’s hard to argue that bathrooms are the worst-smelling rooms in your home. It doesn’t take a rocket science degree to figure out why, and we’re adults here, so we don’t need to go into the reason any further. But just because everyone has to deal with the same “stuff” in the bathroom doesn’t mean all bathrooms have to smell bad. I was recently in the bathroom for the reason I’m alluding to, and I noted a much more pleasant smell than normal hit my nostrils. That’s when I realized my wife had done something to help out our whole household. I saw the Pura Mini smart home fragrance diffuser plugged into the outlet and was curious what it was. After learning more about it, I’m sure glad it’s in all the bathrooms we have. So is everyone else. Related I was sick of dust coming back right after cleaning and this trick fixed it Why do I dust if it immediately returns? These 4 bathroom upgrades make a bigger difference than any renovation

These 4 bathroom upgrades make a bigger difference than any renovation

Cleanliness is one of the most important facets when it comes to a home. If you’re living in filth, you’re more likely to get sick, have poor hygiene, and no one will ever want to come to your house. One of the most important places to keep clean in your home is the bathroom. The spread of germs can stem from the bathroom, as they can sit on anything, ranging from the toilet to the sink and the doorknob. If you’re looking to keep your home clean, it should start in the bathroom. Of course, many people want to keep their bathroom clean because they’ve worked hard on making it a nice room in their home. If you’re in the process of upgrading your bathroom, know that a full renovation will set you back quite a bit. First, consider upgrades rather than renovations to see if you can turn your bathroom around. The 11 best shower heads for an instant bathroom upgrade

Reviewed by Catherine Hufton The Curo Skin Filtered Shower Head is designed to benefit those with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and sensitivity, or those whose skin and hair health is affected by living in a hard water area. It’s approved by dermatologists and trichologists thanks to its filtration, which removes over 99 per cent of chlorine and heavy metals from shower water. This is believed to help reduce skin irritation and improve skin and scalp hydration levels. My hair often feels weighed down when washed using our usual shower head, as I live in a hard-water area in London. I definitely felt a difference after using this Curo Skin Filtered model, and my skin felt softer and more voluminous. The shower head has a flow rate of 13 litres per minute and boasts great water pressure even when used on a hand-held attachment. I found the head easy to install, but it does require a filter replacement after every 90 days in order to purify the water as advertised.  The only real …
