Baywatch alum Brandy Ledford proved that she hadn’t aged a day since her star-making role in the hit ’90s series, amid a recent outing in Los Angeles for the Race to Erase MS Gala.  The 57-year-old looked incredible in a fitted white dress that stopped mid-thigh, complete with long sleeves and an eye-catching bow at the hip. Baywatch star Carmen Electra looked like she hadn’t aged a day since starring in the hit ’90s series, when she stepped out on the red carpet at the Scary Movie 6 premiere in Los Angeles. The 54-year-old stunned in a sheer black strapless gown with feathered detailing, which ended in a tulle train. Stephen Amell has shared the first promo for the upcoming Baywatch reboot. The brief preview, posted to Amell’s Instagram account on Saturday, features quick looks at Amell’s Captain Hobie Buchannon, son of David Hasselhoff’s Mitch Buchannon, as well as characters played by Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne and Jessica Belkin in the upcoming Fox series. The promo, which teases “same beach, new blood,” features the iconic red swimsuits and slow-motion running of the original series. Amell captioned his post with, “I dream in slow motion.” Those who are eagerly awaiting the Baywatch reboot may feel like they’re living in slow motion, though, as they’ll have to wait until January for the update to hit their screens. The 12-episode series won’t be ready for the fall but will debut in late January 2027, and Fox is optimistic about a midseason launch for the revival. “We have a rich history and of launching series midseason,” Fox president Michael Thorn said on a media conference call earlier this month. “We just did it most recently with Best Medicine and …

‘Baywatch’ Reboot to Remain at Venice Beach After Filming Issues

The cast of Fox‘s Baywatch reboot will remain on Venice Beach. After reports suggested the series had encountered issues filming in Venice Beach, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass confirmed on X on Friday that production will continue as planned. “I’m pleased that Baywatch will continue to film right here on Venice Beach. When I heard there were issues with Baywatch filming in Los Angeles, my Office took immediate action with Councilmember Park to clear any City-related barriers, including making parking easier and more affordable for the production,” she wrote. Bass added: “This was a team effort, among my Office, Councilmember Park’s Office, the County, Coastal Commission, Fremantle and FOX, and I’m thankful for this continued partnership.”  The series will continue filming across Los Angeles’ iconic beaches, including Venice Beach outside of the Lifeguard Headquarters, Marina del Rey and Redondo Beach, as well as at the Fox lot in Century City. With the Fox series reimagining of the classic lifeguard drama in production, The Hollywood Reporter rounds up the influencer-heavy cast heading to Venice Beach. James Pergola, who worked on Gentle Ben, Caddyshack and Major League before serving as a cinematographer on the first eight seasons of Baywatch, has died. He was 93. Pergola died of natural causes in hospice care on Feb. 23 in Naples, Florida, his wife of 63 years, Virginia Pergola, told The Hollywood Reporter. His feature credits as a director of photography included Dom DeLuise’s Hot Stuff (1979), Jerry Lewis’ Hardly Working (1980), Nobody’s Perfekt (1981), the Amy Madigan-starring Love Child (1982), Smokey and the Bandit 3 (1983), What Comes Around (1985) and Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach (1988). The respected Pergola shot 145 episodes of the David Hasselhoff-starring Baywatch from its start on NBC in 1989 and through its years as a syndication juggernaut until his retirement in 1998.
