Camila Morrone spent 24 hours in Prague last week, then another 48 in New York, before a day in Los Angeles over the weekend, from where she called in to talk about her 2026 Met Gala look. “It’s been the busiest pre-Met,” she says, “I wouldn’t say it’s been necessarily relaxing, but I like adrenaline and moving fast, so I’m happy.” Morrone has been on a roll since starring in Daisy Jones and the Six in 2023. Camila Morrone may be leading Netflix’s new series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, but she admits to having some fear of being at the top of the call sheet after working on Daisy Jones & the Six. In an interview with People magazine, Morrone reflected on working on the Prime Video series at the time which she starred in alongside Keough and Sam Claflin. “I saw Riley Keough and Sam Claflin go through hell on Daisy Jones & the Six,” Morrone said. She recalled “looking at Riley” as the series lead, and how she didn’t “know if she’s going to make it.” “She was withered. She was down,” Morrone said of her former co-star. She described Keough as a “real gangster” for pushing through it all. In the long-awaited second season of the BBC/Prime Video spy thriller, Calva was introduced as Jonathan Pine’s (Tom Hiddleston) new antagonist, a young Mexican-Colombian arms dealer who turns out to be the biological son of Pine’s archnemesis Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie). Following the suspicious death of his superior Rex Mayhew (Douglas Hodge), who had been investigating a potential high-level leak within MI6 connected to the shipment of weapons to Colombia, Pine secretly infiltrated Teddy’s criminal enterprise under the alias of Matthew Ellis.
