Natalie Portman announced that she’s pregnant with her third child. Exclusively sharing the news with Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said she feels “very grateful,” and that’s “such a privilege and a miracle.” She is expecting a child with her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable. “Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told the publication. The 44-year-old further said, “I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing. A New York resident identified as John Doe has sued Stake.com, Stake.us, Coinbase and related companies in New York State Supreme Court, accusing them of helping run years of illegal online gambling that he says started when he was still a child. The case was filed in Manhattan. It says the plaintiff began using the defendants’ platforms while underage, kept gambling for years, and suffered serious financial and emotional fallout. “This case is about the promotion and operation of an illegal offshore gambling platform, Stake.com, to target and acquire minor users, including Plaintiff,” the filing states. Figures released by the credit card company Hana Card showed that some 30,000 overseas visitors spent about 55.5bn won on airfare, accommodation, food, and retail during the three days that BTS performed at Goyang Stadium earlier this month, according to The Korea Times. The band composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook had been on a hiatus since 2022 while the members completed their country’s compulsory military service. The members pursued solo projects during that time but returned as a group last month with their new album Arirang. The comeback was marked by a free concert at the historic Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on 21 March. They launched the accompanying Arirang World Tour on 9 April in Goyang, just outside …

Russia pummelled Ukraine with drone and missile attacks overnight, killing three including a child and triggering air alerts in the capital Kyiv, officials said Thursday. Moscow has fired hundreds of drones on its neighbour almost nightly since the beginning of the four-year war, and recently expanded daytime strikes.  “As a result of the enemy attack on the capital, two people died – a 12-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman,” Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram. A separate attack on the central city of Dnipro killed one more person, Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the regional administration posted on Telegram.
