The 28-year-old star, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, was in Brazil to perform at the country’s edition of the Lollapalooza music festival on Saturday, 21 March. No matter how often you walk the red carpet, being a celebrity is certainly no walk in the park, as a tense interaction between best supporting actress nominee Teyana Taylor and a security guard at the Oscars 2026 Sunday evening proves. Video posted to social media Sunday after the ceremony showed Taylor stopped in the midst of a crowd heading backstage at the Dolby Theater for a cast photo to celebrate One Battle After Another’s six Oscar wins. “You’re a man putting your hands on a female,” she can be heard saying, adding, “you’re very rude.” She was reportedly reacting to a male security guard who she said shoved her in the crowd, in an attempt to block her and Warner Bros. co-chair Pamela Abdy from their destination. “He literally shoved me,” she explained to a nearby onlooker as Abdy held her hand. “He was damn near shoving her.” Taylor’s reps declined to further comment on the incident when contacted by Vanity Fair. The killing of ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last Saturday sparked national outrage – particularly when it comes to the 2nd Amendment and his right to carry while protesting. The incident resulted in two federal agents involved in the shooting being placed on leave, and the ouster of US border patrol chief Gregory Bovino as the face of the Trump administration’s mass deportation drive. While the circumstances of his death are still under investigation – many believe this  gun went off after an agent took it off his body, spooking the shooter or shooters – he was known to federal authorities, and had suffered a broken rib during a violent confrontation with agents about a week before his death, CNN reported Tuesday. Reform’s head of policy Zia Yusuf startled BBC Question Time audience members on Thursday with his curt response to a question. During an immigration special, one member of the crowd took issue with the anti-immigration party’s claim that there are enough people in the UK to “not need foreign doctors”.
