May 25 : Bournemouth’s qualification for Europa League after a sixth-place Premier League finish was a perfect ending, departing manager Andoni Iraola said, admitting that he once believed reaching Europe was almost impossible. The 43-year-old Spaniard, who said in April he would leave the club at the end of the season after taking charge in 2023, oversaw a dramatic rise that culminated in Bournemouth’s best-ever Premier League finish. “I am quite hard but I have been really close (to tears). SINGAPORE: Passengers departing Singapore will soon be limited to two power banks per person on board flights, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) said on Monday (Apr 6). The new restriction will kick in on Apr 15 at 12.01am. Those carrying more than two power banks will have to dispose of the excess devices before their flight. “Power banks must also not be charged on board the aircraft and passengers are advised not to use power banks to charge their devices during the flight,” said CAAS. This new restriction comes after a new ruling issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on Apr 2 that updated safety requirements associated with the carriage and use of power banks on board aircraft. “Lithium batteries in power banks can overheat or short-circuit, posing a fire and safety hazard on board flights,” said CAAS. “ICAO’s new requirement of a maximum of two power banks per passenger and restrictions on the charging and use of power banks on board flights seek to reduce the risk of fire while …

K-pop agency SM Entertainment has announced that Mark Lee is departing the label and boy group NCT, along with its subunits NCT 127 and NCT Dream. The 26-year-old’s exit from the group was announced in a statement released on the fan platform Weverse Friday afternoon Korean local time. “After a long period of careful and thoughtful discussion with Mark regarding his future activities, we have mutually agreed to conclude his exclusive contract as of April 8,” the statement reads. “Mark will conclude all activities as a member of NCT, including NCT 127 and NCT Dream.” Lee has been a member of the now-24-member boy group NCT since its inception in 2016. The group introduced a first-of-its-kind system that broke it down into several smaller groups, known as subunits, which included both rotating and fixed member configurations.
