Cristo Fernández, who stars as the beloved AFC Richmond forward in the hit Apple TV+ series led by Jason Sudeikis, has signed a professional soccer contract in real life with El Paso Locomotive FC, the USL Championship club unveiled Tuesday on X. The deal’s terms and length were not disclosed, and it is still pending league and federation approval. Fernández joins the second-division U.S. club after a two-month trial. “The rumors were true.
