Not many actors can claim that one of their most well-known roles is the focus of watch-party binges across the US but Geraldine James, along with her The Jewel in the Crown co-stars, is one of the fortunate few. The actress has gone on to star in Netflix hits like Anne with an E, appeared alongside acting royalty Vanessa Redgrave in The Fever (2004) and continues to prove herself as a razor-sharp character study and powerful presence, both on-stage and on-screen.
