A grandad has been battered black and blue in his own home in a horrific torture ordeal that lasted for hours. Gus Tierney, 68, was viciously attacked by a robber who burst into his home in the early hours of April 24. The culprit stole £700 in cash and repeatedly beat the vulnerable pensioner in a bid to force him to reveal his bank account pin number.
