Not too long ago, Noah Wyle was out to dinner when an elderly couple approached. “We love the show,” the exchange began. Then came the request: “I just had knee surgery,” said the woman. “Would you mind taking a look?” According to the Pitt star, she rolled up her pant leg right there, and Wyle assessed the incision. Connor Storrie, Kit Harington, Jane Fonda, Robert Englund, music icon Eddie Cochran and other big names will feature in the lineup of the 34th edition of the Raindance Film Festival in London – whether as stars, behind-the-scenes talent or subjects of movies. But organizers unveiled the 2026 program on Monday with commentary on the state of the world. “In an increasingly divisive and polarized world, the power of storytelling has never been more crucial,” they said. “Raindance is privileged to be a platform for sharing stories from emerging filmmakers: the new voices in cinema who won’t wait for big-time producers or major studios to greenlight their projects, because some films can’t wait.” And they added: “That urgency might be to share important truths about headline-making topics ranging from Ukraine to AI, fracking to deforestation, refugees to bride slavery.” Of course, the lineup will also put a spotlight on celebrities past and present and escapist fare, whether of the sci-fi, horror or other varieties. ‘Industry’’s Kit Harington Would Play Henry Muck Again

This story contains major spoilers for the season four finale of HBO’s Industry, “Both, And.” It’s the end of the road for Sir Henry Muck. In season four of HBO’s Industry, Yasmin’s husband has embarked on an Icarus-like flight of redemption, joining the splashy fintech banking company Tender as its new CEO, only to discover that Tender’s founder, Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), has made him the face of a company that barely exists. Tender’s earnings are inflated, based on bogus acquisitions; the thing, as Henry and other characters learn over the course of the season, is nothing. In “Both, And,” Industry‘s season four finale, Henry comes crashing down to Earth. Yasmin (Marisa Abela) tells him they’re done; Whitney reveals to him that there’s Russian state interest in Tender, which puts both of them in considerable danger. Kit Harington has admitted that there was one part of the fan backlash over the Game Of Thrones series finale that really irked him. The Industry star played Jon Snow in all eight seasons of Game Of Thrones, which came to an end in 2019 with a final season which it’s no secret that many viewers were unhappy about, with more than a million even signing a petition calling for the last run of episodes to be remade “with competent writers”.
