‘Tell Me Lies’ Ending With Season 3 Finale

‘Tell Me Lies’ Ending With Season 3 Finale

Tell Me Lies is ending the cycle of Lucy and Stephen. Meaghan Oppenheimer, the creator of Hulu‘s buzzy drama starring Grace Van Patten and Jackson White, announced on Monday that the show won’t be returning for a fourth season. The news comes ahead of the highly anticipated season three finale, which releases at 9 p.m. PT/12 a.m. ET on Monday. “After three amazing seasons of Tell Me Lies, tonight’s episode will be the series finale,” Oppenheimer wrote on Instagram. “This was always the ending my writing team and I had in mind, and we are insanely proud of it. Your incredible response to this season inspired us to explore whether there was another organic way to continue the story, but ultimately we felt it had reached its natural conclusion. My main goal has always been to protect the quality of the show and give you the best experience I can give you. And so, while it is bittersweet to leave something that has been such a happy experience, I am very grateful that we are able to tell a complete …

‘Tell Me Lies’ Diana, Pippa Romance in Season 3: Interview

‘Tell Me Lies’ Diana, Pippa Romance in Season 3: Interview

[This story contains MAJOR spoilers from Tell Me Lies season three, episode four, titled “Fix Me Up, Girl.”] “I’m so excited to abort your baby.” That line from Diana (Alicia Crowder) in season three of Tell Me Lies pretty much sums up where she stands with Stephen (Jackson White) after two seasons of chaos. Throughout the first half of the Hulu show’s newest and third season, viewers have been getting to see how Diana and Pippa’s (Sonia Mena) romance initially began in college, after it was revealed they were dating in the 2015 timeline last season. But things can never be simple for these characters, so Pippa is still navigating her relationship with boyfriend Wrigley (Spencer House) while also exploring a new, secret relationship with Diana. To make things more complicated, Diana learns that she’s pregnant with ex-boyfriend Stephen’s baby. Diana’s casual decision to get an abortion was something creator Meaghan Oppenheimer said she fought to depict, crediting Hulu and their work with Planned Parenthood to get the storyline right. “I had to push for …

‘Tell Me Lies’ Shocking Bree Love Triangle: Cat Missal Interview

[This story contains MAJOR spoilers from Tell Me Lies season three, episode four, “Fix Me Up, Girl.”] Hulu‘s Tell Me Lies is only halfway through its third season and there’s already so much to unpack — especially involving Cat Missal and Costa D’Angelo’s storylines with Bree and Alex. The eye-opening fourth episode revealed that Evan (Branden Cook) and Bree have tied the knot in the 2015 timeline — but also that there’s still a secret spark brewing between Bree and Wrigley (Spencer House), as Evan’s best friend has been revealed to be Bree’s mystery caller. That twist reveal answers the big season two cliffhanger and, unfortunately, everyone’s favorite toxic boyfriend, Stephen (Jackson White), connects the Wrigley and Bree dots at the wedding. “It was a guessing game up until a couple of weeks before we went and shot [that scene],” Missal tells The Hollywood Reporter of when she learned about the shocking reveal about Bree and Wrigley. “It obviously changed my whole view of the scene and what is going to happen to her. But …

‘Tell Me Lies’ Drops Surprise Third Episode With Season 3 Premiere

Tell Me Lies fans: Hulu has a surprise for you. Instead of having to wait another week for more intoxicating drama from Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White), the streamer has dropped a third episode along with the show’s two-episode return. The third episode of the highly anticipated third season, titled “Repent,” is also now available to stream along with the planned first two episodes — titled “You F*cked It, Friend” and “We Can’t Help It If We Are A Problem.” The new season follows the jaw-dropping season two finale that ended (spoiler alert!) with Stephen (White) sending Lucy’s best friend and bride Bree (Cat Missal) a voice recording of Bree’s groom, Evan (Branden Cook), confessing that he slept with Lucy (Van Patten) back in college. Their one-night tryst was known to viewers, but not to Bree, who was finding out right before she is set to walk down the aisle and marry Evan during the show’s 2015-set timeline. The third season, per Hulu, will follow Lucy and Stephen as they’ve rekindled their …
