The ladies of Blackpink hit the Met Gala red carpet Monday, marking the first time all four women attended fashion’s biggest night the same year. In the decade since Blackpink burst onto the scene, the group — comprised of members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé — has become a staple in the world of fashion. Each woman has a slew of luxury brand ambassadorships to their name. Lisa, 29, served as a member of the 2026 Met Gala host committee, sporting the most avant-garde look of the night. The rapper and actress wore a custom Robert Wun look, which featured 3D-printed arms jutting out from the look that held up her sheer veil. Blackpink’s Jisoo is set to receive the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award at the upcoming Cannes International Series Festival. The annual event, also known as Canneseries, will take place in Cannes, France, from Apr 23 to 28, with the award presented during the opening ceremony on Apr 23. The award, presented in partnership with French magazine Madame Figaro, honours rising figures in the entertainment industry. Past recipients include American actress Sydney Sweeney, Daisy Edgar-Jones of Normal People, and Phoebe Dynevor of Bridgerton. According to Variety, Canneseries artistic director Albin Lewi said Jisoo’s “artistic journey, her ability to conquer new creative territories, and her global aura” made her the ideal honoree.  Source link

Jisoo, the eldest member of K-pop supergroup Blackpink, is dishing on her excitement about the group’s long-awaited new album. Deadline, the group’s first multi-track release in over three years, was released on Friday. The five-track EP features the previously release single, “Jump,” which became a hit for the group over the summer. Deadline is led by the album’s lead single, “Go,” a catchy three-minute powerful anthem. “Blackpink’s 10th anniversary is this year,” Jisoo told The Hollywood Reporter during press for her new K-drama Boyfriend on Demand. “I’m so happy that we’re releasing another album with such great songs this year,” she continues. “We believe everyone will love our [new] music. I hope you enjoy it a lot.” The 31-year-old singer and actress, fresh off Blackpink’s Deadline world tour, is returning to television in a new Netflix K-drama, Boyfriend on Demand.
