North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un says his country will never surrender its nuclear weapons as he lamented Donald Trump’s war in Iran. He accused the US of carrying out “state terrorism” across the globe – his reason for needing to “permanently secure our nuclear arsenal”. He said: “Today’s reality clearly demonstrates the legitimacy of our nation’s strategic choice and decision to reject the enemies’ sweet talk and permanently secure our nuclear arsenal.” This appears to be in reference to talks with Donald Trump in 2019, which broke down and resulted in Kim increasing nuclear missile production.
