Tesla FSD v14.3 launching this week, Musk claims ‘last piece of the puzzle’

Tesla FSD v14.3 launching this week, Musk claims ‘last piece of the puzzle’

Elon Musk announced today that Tesla “Full Self-Driving” v14.3 is currently in employee beta testing and will “probably go to wide release end of week.” Musk has described v14.3 as the version that will make your car “feel like it is sentient.” If that sounds familiar, it should. Musk has promised that the “next update” will be the transformative one for about a decade now — and the most recent v14.2 updates have actually been degrading in key areas. What Musk is promising Musk posted on X today that “FSD 14.3 is in Tesla employee beta now and will probably go to wide release end of week.” This follows a March 19 confirmation that v14.3 was “in testing right now” with a “wide release in a few weeks.” The CEO has been building up v14.3 as a landmark release since late 2025. Back in November, he called it the version where “the last big piece of the puzzle finally lands.” In a separate post, he claimed that “by V14.3, your car will feel like it …

Clean Energy Industry Launching Campaign of Vengeance

Clean Energy Industry Launching Campaign of Vengeance

Sign up to see the future, today Can’t-miss innovations from the bleeding edge of science and tech The renewable energy sector has taken an absolute beating during Donald Trump’s second term as president. The White House has slashed over $600 billion in tax credits and incentives for EVs, solar and wind projects, while handing billions of dollars of additional tax breaks to the oil and gas industry. Just this week, news emerged that the United States would be paying almost $1 billion to a French energy company to kill plans for a wind farm off the east coast. The timing was particularly bizarre considering the oil crisis Trump’s war on Iran has caused, as Iranian retaliatory strikes continue to damage or destroy much of the Gulf’s energy infrastructure and tankers get caught up in a geopolitical stalemate while trying to traverse the crucial Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, as the New York Times reports, proponents of clean energy have launched a campaign of vengeance, targeting political candidates opposing wind and solar. For instance, crypto platform Ripple …

The first EV with semi-solid-state EV batteries launching in Europe

After introducing the first mass-produced EV with a semi-solid-state battery, MG Motor said it will bring the new battery tech to Europe by the end of 2026. In China, the new MG4 with a semi-solid-state battery starts at under $15,000. Although not that cheap, the new EV is expected to remain affordable in Europe. MG is bringing semi-solid-state EV batteries to Europe SAIC Motors, MG’s parent company, launched the new MG4 at the Chengdu Auto Show last year, calling it “the world’s first mass-produced semi-solid-state” electric vehicle. After deliveries began in China in December, MG announced it would bring the new batteries to Europe by the end of 2026. MG is “setting a new benchmark,” the company said as the first manufacturer to achieve mass production of semi-solid-state EV batteries. Google is launching Search Live globally

Google is launching Search Live globally

Google announced on Thursday that it’s expanding its AI-powered conversational search feature, Search Live, globally to all languages and locations where AI Mode is available. With this expansion, people in more than 200 countries and territories will get access to the feature, Google says. First launched in July 2025, Search Live allows users to point their phone camera at objects to get real-time assistance, enabling back-and-forth conversations that draw on the visual context from the camera feed. Prior to this global expansion, Search Live was only available in the U.S. and India. The expansion is enabled by Google’s new audio and voice model, Gemini 3.1 Flash Live. The model delivers even more natural and intuitive conversations, the tech giant says. To use the feature, users need to open the Google app on Android or iOS and tap the Live icon under the Search bar. From there, they can ask a question out loud to get an audio response, then continue the conversation with follow-up questions. Users also have the option to dive deeper by exploring web …

Nazi-obsessed teenager described herself as ’embodiment of hell’ before launching axe attack | UK News

Nazi-obsessed teenager described herself as ’embodiment of hell’ before launching axe attack | UK News

A Nazi-obsessed teenager who launched a far-right axe attack on a random stranger has pleaded guilty to attempted murder. Alina Burns, then aged 18, attacked Mohammed Mahmoodi, an Iranian Kurd, outside a barber’s shop in Bedminster, Bristol, on 2 August last year as he was chatting with a friend. CCTV from inside the shop showed the 27-year-old turning and ducking at the last minute as she swung an axe at his neck. The teenager then tried to strike Mr Mahmoodi again, before he managed to disarm her, escaping with only painful scratches to his neck and cheek. She was then detained by police officers who had been on patrol nearby. They found a scalpel and several darts on her. Image: The attack took place outside BHK Barbers in Bedminster, Bristol. Pic: Google Maps Burns nodded when the arresting officer asked her if she had swung the axe at the man. When he asked her why, she said: “I wanted to cut his neck.” Police later discovered an email she had written to an associate, saying: …

Move Over, Davos: James Murdoch Is Launching a King-Making Ideas Expo, Building on His Art Basel Fairs

Move Over, Davos: James Murdoch Is Launching a King-Making Ideas Expo, Building on His Art Basel Fairs

“It’s not just a bunch of people talking about big ideas, because that actually will happen in the run-up to the festival,” a source said. “And obviously, there’ll be a robust speaking program and debates about what the future should be.” There are also the gigantic rooms outfitted with top-of-the-line gear. The room that usually houses Art Basel Unlimited on the Messeplatz, a 170,000-square-foot space the size of multiple airport hangars, could be the site of tech presentations that, frankly, are far from possible anywhere in Aspen. “We can use that to actually demonstrate things at scale, because we have these huge—you’ve been to Art Basel—these amazing exhibition halls that you can do all kinds of crazy things in,” a source said. It’ll be a completely separate enterprise, with a different mission, from Art Basel, but the city’s art infrastructure will very much play a part. And it’s the only ideas festival that insiders compared to the Venice Biennale. I mentioned the peace talks. It was stressed to me that Basel has long been a …

Taco Bell is launching Baja Blast under-eye patches: Everything we know

Taco Bell is launching Baja Blast under-eye patches: Everything we know

You may have heard: Taco Bell is getting into the beauty business. Because nothing says clear skin like Cheesy Gordita Crunch and Beefy 5-Layer Burrito. The fast-food chain announced last week that it would be introducing “Mountain Dew Baja Blast Under Eye Patches” later this year. (Yes, really.) The news came at Taco Bell’s Live Más Live gala March 10, during which the company introduced more than 20 new menu items — though the under-eye patches are the only non-edibles being rolled out. “For the Baja Blast die-hard, infused with caffeine and a refreshing boost of citrus,” Taco Bell said in a news release, “these patches energize skin and deliver cooling hydration.” Taco Bell didn’t give a release date or share any more information about the ingredients in its soon-to-debut eye patches. So we were, well, hungry for information. For starters: Why under-eye patches?! “It’s an opportunity to extend the brand beyond the category,” says University of Michigan marketing professor Marcus Collins, author of “For the Culture: The Power Behind What We Buy, What We …
