Shared memory is the missing layer in AI orchestration

Shared memory is the missing layer in AI orchestration

The key to successful AI agents within an enterprise? Shared memory and context.  This, according to Asana CPO Arnab Bose, provides detailed history and direct access from the get-go — with guardrail checkpoints and human oversight, of course.  This way, “when you assign a task, you’re not having to go ahead and re-provide all of the context about how your business works,” Bose said at a recent VB event in San Francisco.  AI as an active teammate, rather than a passive add-on Asana launched Asana AI Teammates last year with the philosophy that, just like humans, AI agents should be plugged directly into a team or project to create a collaborative system. To further this mission, the project management company has fully integrated with Anthropic’s Claude.   Users can choose from 12 pre-built agents — for common use cases like IT ticket deflection — or build their own, then assign them to project teams and immediately provide a historical record of what tasks have already been completed and what is still yet to be resolved. ServiceNow positions itself as the control layer for enterprise AI execution

ServiceNow announced a multi-year partnership with OpenAI to bring GPT-5.2 into its AI Control Tower and Xanadu platform, reinforcing ServiceNow’s strategy to focus on enterprise workflows, guardrails, and orchestration rather than building frontier models itself. For enterprise buyers, the deal underscores a broader shift: general-purpose models are becoming interchangeable, while the platforms that control how they’re deployed and governed are where differentiation now lives. ServiceNow lets enterprises develop agents and applications, plug them into existing workflows, and manage orchestration and monitoring through its unified AI Control Tower.   The partnership does not mean ServiceNow will no longer use other models to power its services, said John Aisien, senior vice president of product management at ServiceNow. “We will remain an open platform. There are things we will partner on with each of the model providers, depending on their expertise. Still, ServiceNow will continue to support a hybrid, multi-model AI strategy where customers can bring any model to our AI platform,” Aisien said in an email to VentureBeat. “Instead of exclusivity, we give enterprise customers maximum flexibility by …

How to Layer Like a Pro at Fashion Week

How to Layer Like a Pro at Fashion Week

Every winter day offers an opportunity to experiment with layers. There is an art to piling on jackets, sweaters, tees, and scarves with ease, but it can feel almost like a science. For example, ahead of a long, toasty subway ride, it’s often more practical to opt for two lighter layers beneath a coat rather than one heavy sweater—and the same goes during fashion week, where temperatures fluctuate from show to show. (You may even break a sweat sprinting through Milan to catch the next runway.) Here, thoughtful layering becomes all the more essential. Not so long ago, the prevailing wisdom in menswear circles suggested that excessive layering risked veering into Joey Tribbiani territory. But just last season, the likes of Issey Miyake and Loewe sent hyper-layered looks down the runway, and the outfits we’re seeing in Milan suggest that a broader shift may already be well underway. Hell, at the Armani show, Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams wore two jackets at once! From maximalist outerwear to more minimalist feats (think collared shirts deftly layered under …

How to Style a Cardigan: 39 Handsome Ways to Wear Menswear’s Most Useful Layer

Cardigans have this reputation in the popular imagination of being a little dorky and square—the kind of thing Steve Urkel might wear, say, as he’s getting stuffed in a locker. But it’s difficult to understand exactly where exactly that cliché came from, given how many iconically cool folks have looked impossibly handsome in cardigans for decades upon decades now. We’re talking about movie stars like Steve McQueen and Donald Glover, musicians like Stevie Wonder and Kurt Cobain, athletes like Arnold Palmer and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. With layering season blissfully upon us, we’re paying tribute to arguably the most versatile knit you can own—one that looks killer with a tee or polo in the spring, with shorts and a tank in the summer, and with all manner of coats and blazers and button-downs in the fall and winter. Here are 31 can’t-miss ways to style a cardigan right now. Source link
