Meghan Markle’s Emmy nomination was described as “baffling” by a royal commentator, who said her Netflix show is “lacklustre” with a “dreadfully low ongoing watching”. The Duchess of Sussex released the first series of With Love, Meghan, on Netflix in 2025. It coincided with the unveiling of her lifestyle brand As Ever, with her first products regularly promoted throughout the show. Nominated in the outstanding lifestyle programme category, the series will compete against NBC’s George to the Rescue, Hallmark’s The Motherhood, The Wizard of Paws and A Different Breed. But a royal commentator criticised the nomination, saying it will only be a “PR win”.
