Meghan Markle’s Emmy nomination was described as “baffling” by a royal commentator, who said her Netflix show is “lacklustre” with a “dreadfully low ongoing watching”. The Duchess of Sussex released the first series of With Love, Meghan, on Netflix in 2025. It coincided with the unveiling of her lifestyle brand As Ever, with her first products regularly promoted throughout the show. Nominated in the outstanding lifestyle programme category, the series will compete against NBC’s George to the Rescue, Hallmark’s The Motherhood, The Wizard of Paws and A Different Breed. But a royal commentator criticised the nomination, saying it will only be a “PR win”. After days of back-and-forth, news outlets reported Saturday that Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet have canceled their plans to accompany Harry to London after a request for police protection for the family was denied. It is currently unclear if the rest of the Sussexes will travel to England at all—the family had originally planned a five-day excursion around the country—with The Independent reporting “no decision has been made.” The change of plans forces Harry to handle his engagements in London on his own, including his scheduled visit to the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still “looking at options” for security ahead of their UK visit next week, HELLO! understands.  The Duke of Sussex, 41, will be returning to the UK next week for a series of engagements related to his Invictus Games, but it’s still not confirmed whether Meghan and their two children will be joining him.  It’s understood that Harry’s security team is still looking at options to make the visit work in some form, so that Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, can come to the UK. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will stay with their parents at a royal residence when they visit next month, but will not attend any public engagements, HELLO! can reveal. Harry and Meghan are bringing their children to the UK for the first time since 2022, and will spend their time across a mixture of royal and private accommodation. The Duke’s police protection was removed when he moved to the United States in 2020 and he has previously stated that he “can’t see a world” in which he brought his wife and children back to Britain. He has spent the past five years challenging the Home Office over the situation in court and has been awaiting the outcome of a review agreed by the Home Secretary.
