Stella McCartney launches sustainable collection with H&M | Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney, the luxury fashion designer who refuses to use leather, fur or feathers, is returning to the high street for a sustainable collection with H&M. The collaboration between the British designer and the Swedish retail company will go on sale in May. The collection will feature a “Rock Royalty” emblazoned T-shirt (£37.99) – a riff on the one she wore to the Met Gala in 1999 and a nod to her father, Paul McCartney, who sits front row at her shows – alongside tailoring including a grey oversized pinstripe blazer (£259.99) and matching trousers (£139.99) made from wool that meets responsible wool standards. A similar look costs more than £1,000 from her mainline collection. “I hate how elitist the fashion industry is,” she said. “I want a younger and wider audience to have access to my stuff. People tell me they love my stuff all the time but they can’t afford it.” There is also a £189.99 take on her Falabella bag, the first vegan it-bag when it launched in 2009. Her high street …

Paul McCartney Plays Rare Theater Concert at Fonda in Los Angeles

“Cool little place, this, isn’t it?” Paul McCartney exclaimed as he looked off into the rafters, then to the sold-out crowd of 1,200 ecstatic fans at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood Friday night, minutes after he and his band had launched the night with Beatles classic “Help.” As McCartney suggests, this is a different locale than he’d usually play, far more intimate than the usual arena or stadium gig one of the world’s most legendary artists would normally take on when they hit the road. And coming just a day after the singer dropped a new single and announced his first album in five years this week, it was impossible for it not to feel celebratory. Friday was the first of two Fonda underplays McCartney plays this weekend, with show two coming Saturday night. It’s a rare opportunity for a select few fans — plenty of others were outside trying in earnest to score a last-second ticket — but shows like these haven’t been unheard of over the past year; he played three shows at …

New Music Friday March 27: Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, ZAYN, RAYE, Suki Waterhouse and More

Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between. Paul McCartney has announced his first solo album in over 5 years, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, out May 29. The album is his most introspective album to date and takes listeners back to where it all began. Paul has released a new song, “Days We Left Behind,” which he says is “very much a memory song of me. I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I’m just writing about the past but then I think how can you write about anything else?” Miley Cyrus celebrated the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana with a star-studded premiere of Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special at the El Capitan Theatre earlier this week. The special is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu and takes a look back as Miley revisits her most memorable moments. Miley shared, “HM …

Paul McCartney debuts new single on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Merseyside

Sir Paul McCartney has premiered his brand new single Days We Left Behind, marking his first musical release in six years. The new song debuted on Radio Merseyside today (26 March), meaning the people of Merseyside, where McCartney and the Beatles famously came from, heard the song before anyone else. Meanwhile, on The Afternoon Show with Trevor Nelson on BBC Radio 2, the Beatles icon also announced that the track is from a brand new studio album entitled The Boys of Dungeon Lane. The station exclusively broadcast a voice message from McCartney as he opened up about the inspiration for the new song, saying the lyrics were about the past – namely of growing up in Liverpool – and of John Lennon. Paul McCartney Only Wears Patek Philippes as Legendary as Him

Paul McCartney Only Wears Patek Philippes as Legendary as Him

Few human beings convey a sense of effortless cool quite like Sir Paul McCartney. After all, once you’ve written “Let It Be,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude,” and “Band on the Run,” you are officially an eternal steward of the zeitgeist and can do as you wish. McCartney, never one for flash, does allow himself one indulgence, however: A Patek Philippe Aquanaut. The Aquanaut, by luxury watch standards, is as understated and classy as McCartney himself. Worn throughout the years to appearances on Carpool Karaoke, to Rolling Stone cover shoots, and to his own wedding, it’s a chameleon of a timepiece that manages to look impeccable without calling attention to itself. Earlier this month, McCartney once again saw fit to strap it to his right wrist—the Beatle is perhaps the world’s most famous southpaw, plucking his Hofner bass with his right hand—while attending his daughter Stella McCartney’s fashion show in Paris. Photo courtesy of Sotheby’s; Getty Images How exactly does the Aquanaut blend so well into any given sartorial scenario, you might ask? Unlike its Gérald Genta-designed …

Stella McCartney Paris show is a whistle-stop tour of her life | Stella McCartney

Speaking after her show at Paris fashion week, the British designer Stella McCartney marked 25 years in the industry by letting slip that she was to receive the most prestigious French accolade, the Légion d’honneur, on Thursday – and making a jumper using yeast. Never mind that she has not turned a profit since 2017. The fashion designer knows how to turn a show into a moment, opening with “some equine therapy” in the form of a dozen dancing horses to mark the Chinese year of the horse, and closing it with a vest that said “My dad’s a rock star” in front of a grinning Paul McCartney who sat front row next to Oprah Winfrey. Fishermen knits were a nod to a childhood spent on the Mull of Kintyre; loose low-rise denim (recycled, of course) to being a teenager in west London; and jewel-coloured stirrup leggings to interning at Christian Lacroix. The finale vest was …

Paul McCartney, 83, is a doting dad as he steps out to support daughter with wife Nancy, 66

Paul McCartney was front and center at his daughter Stella McCartney’s fashion show on Wednesday, with his adoring wife, Nancy Shevell, by his side. The pair showed up to support the fashion designer, who showcased her fall/winter 2026-2027 collection at a riding hall during Paris Fashion Week. The Beatles icon arrived in a navy blue suit worn over a white shirt, and Paul added a blue scarf to ward off the cold. His wife of 14 years looked chic in a matching navy suit with a blue band tee underneath. She completed the look with a black clutch and aviator sunglasses, and wore her blonde-brunette locks down in subtle waves. Paul made sure to showcase his support of Stella ahead of the show, with a social media user capturing him declaring: “Hi Stel! I love you!” as he walked inside. The risky reinvention of Paul McCartney

The risky reinvention of Paul McCartney

With thrilling stories about ordinary blokes willing some of history’s most beloved music into being, the tapestry of The Beatles is rife with drama and wonder. In his new documentary “Man on the Run,” director Morgan Neville addresses one of Beatledom’s — or, more accurately, post-Beatledom’s — most remarkable, even inspirational tales. In April 1970, Paul McCartney announced The Beatles’ disbandment to a stunned world. But as Neville’s documentary makes abundantly clear: while music lovers across the globe certainly mourned The Beatles’ breakup, few suffered its heartbreaking aftershocks to McCartney’s extent. His saving grace proved to be his wife Linda, whom he married in March 1969. Linda had not merely been there to stave off the post-Beatles doldrums. She had helped him to conquer the significant depression that he experienced in the wake of the disbandment, a period in which he increasingly relied on alcohol to sate his aching soul. He also admitted in a 1974 Rolling Stone interview that he leaned more on Linda, saying, “I don’t think I have that many [friends]. No …

Paul McCartney, Unfiltered, Part 2: “Go Back and Look at Who Wrote the Hits”

Yeah. And then we had to deal with Sam. Everything we wanted—I’d nearly have Yoko agreeing to something, then Sam would get hold of it, the decision would be reversed. Oh my God. Well, this is the story: Jann’s involvement in all these different people’s lives, Lennon and Ono, and their fates, and their records getting reviewed by his people. But it’s kind of clear. I mean, I saw U2’s latest album—glowing review [in Rolling Stone]. And I thought, I don’t think it’s that good. Well, Jann and Bono are two peas in a pod. They’re very good mates. And Bono is a lovely, lovely boy. Jann could be friends with John, very good friends with Bono. But I think it’s a little bit visible, a little bit obvious. I saw that and thought, They’re going to get a great review. It’s going to be great, whether [the album is] great or not. Let me just tell you, as an aside—this is just a fan thing to say. My favorite post-Beatles album by any Beatle …
