Stores in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky had to remove a single lot of Frederik’s by Meijer Vanilla Bourbon Trail Mix 9 oz. from their shelves after retailer, Ferris Coffee & Nut Co., recalled the products for undeclared wheat and soy. Soy and wheat are two of the Food and Drug Administration’s nine “major allergens,” meaning it is a legal requirement for them to appear on food warning labels.
