For decades, Stevie Nicks has been a major style inspiration for generations of women and a few men. But until Met Gala 2026, the former Fleetwood Mac songbird has never walked the carpet at this event. On Monday night, she walked the carpet wearing a custom Zara dress designed by John Galliano. Her midnight blue silk taffeta gown with a matching velvet jacket and a crinoline silhouette didn’t feel totally disparate from any stage ensemble the Black Magic Woman might wear. The overlay skirt was embroidered with appliqué tulle and chiffon roses. And her bohemian top hat, complete with feather adornments, was made in collaboration with milliner Stephen Jones, who has designed others for her (and features the “412 Stevie,” which he says refers to his muse).
