The biggest night in British music is almost upon us – and judging from this year’s guestlist, we reckon it’s going to be a pretty jam-packed one. Between A-list nominees, incredible guest performers and the winners who’ve already been announced, it’s a fair bet that the always-chaotic Brits ceremony could deliver on one or two moments guaranteed to have us all talking the next day. Since 2011, London’s O2 Arena has been the home of the Brit Awards, but this time around, organisers are doing things a little differently. For the first time in Brits history, the ceremony is moving out of the capital to Manchester, where the newly-opened Co-Op Live arena will be the home of this year’s Brits action, as part of a new two-year deal. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled the nominees for its 2026 class, with Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Oasis, Pink, Phil Collins and Shakira among the superstars vying for a nomination. Also on the ballot this year are The Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, New Edition, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan. The official inductees will be announced in April, along with the Musical Influence and Musical Excellence awards as well as the Ahmet Ertegun Award reserved for a prolific music industry veteran. “This diverse list of talented nominees recognizes the ever-evolving faces and sounds of Rock & Roll and its continued impact on youth culture”, John Sykes, chairman of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a statement. “Induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is music’s highest honor and we look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 this Fall.” Artists reach Rock Hall eligibility when their debut recording turns 25 years old, so this year’s class’s …

Just in time for Lunar New Year, UTA and Gold House came together on Wednesday to toast the agency’s AAPI awards season nominees. The Celebration of Asian Excellence in Entertainment, for which The Hollywood Reporter served as media sponsor, took over 88 Club in Beverly Hills as stars across film, TV and music shared food and stories over an intimate dinner. Earlier, over lunch, Academy president Lynette Howell Taylor welcomed all the attendees, revealing that the 230 nominees represented 29 different countries, and that there were a record 76 women nominated this year. “What a year 2025 was,” Howell Taylor said in her opening remarks. “The world broke our hearts, but somehow every single nominee in this room found a way to use their art, their gifts, their tenacity, their bravery through their stories to inspire us and bring us together.” Leonardo DiCaprio PATRICK T. A year after catastrophic wildfires forced the cancellation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton (it was later rescheduled as a dinner at the Academy Museum), the star-studded event returned — in a big way — to its traditional home on Tuesday. Among the A-listers packing the room were best picture nominee Steven Spielberg (Hamnet), best actor nominee Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), best actor nominee Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), best actress nominee Emma Stone (Bugonia), best actor nominee Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), best supporting actor nominee Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein) and best actress nominee Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue).
