The fashion industry legend posted the black and white shot, which was taken by photographer Nick Knight in 2014, on her social media account earlier this month, to celebrate “all those who continue to nurture, support, love & protect children (close to home & across the world) in every way, shape & form”. The photo has since been reinstated on the platform, albeit with a warning that the post “contains content that some people may find upsetting”. The image shows a naked O’Connor with one hand resting on her pregnant belly, and was captured …

Shannon O’Connor, Los Gatos ‘party mom,’ faces up to 30 years in prison

A Northern California woman faces at least 30 years in prison after being convicted on 48 felony and misdemeanor charges related to alcohol-fueled parties she hosted where she pressured underage girls to have sex with boys she helped intoxicate. Shannon Marie O’Connor, 51, known as the Los Gatos “party mom,” was found guilty Wednesday on most of the 63 charges against her at the Santa Clara County courthouse in San Jose. Those charges were related to child endangerment and misdemeanor sexual battery, as well as two felony sex counts. Jeff Rosen, Santa Clara County district attorney, said at a news conference Wednesday afternoon that O’Connor would face at least 30 years in prison pending aggravating factors still to be considered by a judge on March 11. Final sentencing is set for March 26. “After many years and many, many victims, today there was justice,” Rosen said on the steps of the courthouse. “It was a long wait, it was a long trial. There was a lot of hardship and pain and suffering, but with the …

Magic Mike star Manganiello, 49, and the Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty actor O’Connor, 36, revealed last month that they were leaving Los Angeles after 20 years, deciding to relocate to Mount Lebanon — a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — where they both grew up. “The crime in Los Angeles is at an all-time high,” O’Connor said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “We were thinking about it for a long time, and the right house happened to come up. We went to look at it in Pittsburgh, and it was perfect for us.” “Also, L.A. is no longer the …

The History of Sound review | Tender love story will deepen Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal’s fanbases

The History of Sound review | Tender love story will deepen Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal’s fanbases

A star rating of 4 out of 5. A tender, decade-spanning love story, exquisitely told by director Oliver Hermanus, The History of Sound is yet another wonderful showcase for the considerable talents of Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal. The British actor O’Connor, best known for his work as Prince Charles on The Crown, and the Irish-born Mescal, famed for Normal People and, more recently, Gladiator II, are already dizzyingly popular; this first collaboration is only likely to deepen their fanbases. Premiering in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, The History of Sound begins, briefly, in 1910, as Mescal’s Lionel narrates about his unique appreciation of music. “I thought everyone could see sound,” he intones. But it won’t be for another seven years that he meets a man who is similarly in tune with sound. In a bar one night, David (O’Connor) is playing a piano. They will soon become firm friends and more. David, we learn, grew up in Newport, then London, and comes from a wealthier background than Lionel, who was raised up on …

‘I don’t want to resent the thing I love’: Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor on romance, rationing and retirement | Film

‘I don’t want to resent the thing I love’: Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor on romance, rationing and retirement | Film

All things considered, telling Paul Mescal I once placed a bet on him is not quite the icebreaker I had hoped. Or rather, it breaks the ice in an unusual way. “The key question,” he says, his voice betraying a hint of trepidation, “is what was the bet? Most Likely to Join the 27 Club?” Wow: that’s bleak – but funny. Josh O’Connor, who plays Mescal’s lover in the austere new wartime love story The History of Sound, certainly thinks so. Cosied up beside his co-star, he is overcome with appalled laughter. It’s true that Mescal was approaching 27 when I had that flutter on him three years ago. But far from betting that he would meet a premature end at the same tender age as Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, I was throwing down my £25 in a flurry of excitement at his surprise Oscar nomination in 2023 for Charlotte Wells’s Aftersun. He played a young father concealing his suicidal depression from his daughter while they are holidaying together in Turkey. His …

Josh O’Connor Pitches Live-Action ‘Ratatouille’ on ‘SNL’

Josh O’Connor cleared up rumors about him potentially starring in a live-action Ratatouille on Saturday Night Live — which is a project he claims he does not want to star in. The actor began his monologue by listing his credits, which include The Crown, Challengers and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. O’Connor explained to the audience that he has a “reputation” for being a “soft boy,” who is “just trying to live a quiet life.” However, he warned the audience that “you have to be very careful about what you say, because the press will blow everything completely out of proportion,” explaining that him sharing his admiration for the Disney-Pixar film led to false rumors that he was set to star in the project. “Like one time, I said that one of my favorite movies is Ratatouille, which is true, it’s a great film,” he continued. “But I suppose fans started pitching me as Chef Linguini for a live-action Ratatouille remake. And I’m not very online, so I didn’t know that this …
