Princess Beatrice is said to be navigating a period of “distance” from her husband of six years, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, according to a new report in the Mail on Sunday. The newspaper noted that the husband of the youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson has recently spent time abroad, including travelling to Florida earlier this month to work on a new project for his company, Banda Property. According to the report, sources have claimed that Edoardo is keen to keep his business separate from the scandal surrounding the former prince, which is supposedly at odds with Beatrice’s reluctance to cut her parents off. Speaking after the summit, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen suggested the leaders had learned the lesson this week that standing up to Trump in a “firm” but “non-escalatory” way was an effective strategy that they should continue.  EU leaders called the emergency summit in response to Trump’s threat to hit eight European countries with tariffs for objecting to his demand to seize control of Greenland from Denmark. The Israeli and Arab officials have suggested that President Donald Trump, who is weighing military action in Iran in response to the regime’s deadly crackdown on protesters, hold back on large-scale strikes for now, with some of them preferring to wait until the regime is even more strained, the sources said. New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani and Steven Spielberg had a private meeting on Monday at the director’s Central Park West apartment, per The New York Times. The Times reported on the pair’s pre-dinner meeting on Thursday, which was confirmed by City Hall and Terry Press, Spielberg’s spokeswoman. Press additionally told the outlet Mamdani and Spielberg agreed to keep their meeting private, while Dora Pekec, a spokeswoman for the mayor, declined to comment, aside from sharing that he returned to work after the events. Knowledgable sources tell The Hollywood Reporter the meeting was not initiated by Mamdani or Spielberg but by a third party who wanted the mayor and director to meet with Spielberg now being a full-time New York City resident.
