Marc Anthony enjoys ‘quality’ time with lookalike model son

Marc Anthony is a devoted father to seven children – his wife, Nadia, is expecting their eighth – and he makes sure to spend quality time with each of them. This week, it was his fourth child, 22-year-old son Ryan, and the father-son duo revealed their matching personalities, as the pair rocked sunglasses and graphic tees, both pouting for the camera. “Quality Father Son time,” Marc captioned the post, which came after his first string of dates in Las Vegas for his first-ever residency. The four-time Grammy winner and eight-time Latin Grammy winner began the show in February 2026, and there will be five more in July and August 2026. They wed on May 9, 2000, in Las Vegas, and in 2001 Dayanara gave birth to Cristian, known as Cris. Two years later, they welcomed Ryan, who was raised in LA with his older brother. How Sleeping On Sofa Can Harm Sleep Quality

How Sleeping On Sofa Can Harm Sleep Quality

Falling asleep on the sofa can feel like an easy way to unwind after a long day. As mental fatigue sets in, dozing off there can feel effortless and comforting. But sleep experts warn that regularly drifting off outside the bedroom can undermine sleep health over time. “Good sleep quality isn’t just about getting enough hours. It depends on adequate duration, typically seven to nine hours for most adults, intact sleep architecture, and proper circadian alignment – meaning your sleep occurs at the biologically appropriate time for your internal clock,” said Dr. Saema Tahir, an adult and paediatric sleep specialist, and adolescent and adult pulmonary disease specialist. And sofa sleep could be throwing that out of whack. Most adults cycle through four distinct sleep stages, including light sleep, deeper light sleep, deep sleep and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, ideally about four to six times per night in repeating cycles, according to Tahir. Each stage plays a specific role. While deep sleep supports physical repair, immune support and metabolic regulation, REM sleep is critical for …

Your new soundbar needs this specific HDMI cable, or you’re losing quality

Your new soundbar needs this specific HDMI cable, or you’re losing quality

Imagine you have recently purchased the latest and best soundbar. You have put in a lot of research and time behind it, waited three days for its delivery, and spent almost an hour unboxing and setting it up. You plug it in with a cable to your TV, fire up a Marvel movie, and only hear audio, which is just fine. But you don’t invest so much money and time in a soundbar that just has fine audio. Most of the time, the culprit isn’t the soundbar or your TV. It is likely the cable that you used to connect the two. Any cable won’t unlock the best sound quality from your speakers. You need a specific HDMI cable to listen to the immersive experience of Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Here’s what you would need. Related You’re using the wrong cable for your soundbar (and it’s killing the audio quality) You can unlock your soundbar’s true potential by ditching this outdated cable technology. Why isn’t any HDMI cable good enough? The “digital is digital” is …

An AI-powered campaign may have killed a key vote on air quality

An AI-powered campaign may have killed a key vote on air quality

The opposition appeared overwhelming: Tens of thousands of emails poured into Southern California’s top air pollution authority as its board weighed a June proposal to phase out gas-powered appliances. But in reality, many of the messages that may have swayed the powerful regulatory agency to scrap the plan were generated by a platform that is powered by artificial intelligence. Public records requests reviewed by The Times and corroborated by staff members at the South Coast Air Quality Management District confirm that more than 20,000 public comments submitted in opposition to last year’s proposal were generated by a Washington, D.C.-based company called CiviClick, which bills itself as “the first and best AI-powered grassroots advocacy platform.” A Southern California-based public affairs consultant, Matt Klink, has taken credit for using CiviClick to wage the opposition campaign, including in a sponsored article on the website Campaigns and Elections. The campaign “left the staff of the Southern California Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) reeling,” the article says. It is not clear how AI was deployed in the campaign, and officials …

This iPhone Feature Helps Me Get More Quality Sleep

This iPhone Feature Helps Me Get More Quality Sleep

As someone who has struggled with sleep throughout my life, I will do anything to catch more Zs. I’ve read all the expert tips and tried countless products, yet the one technique that has truly helped me get better quality sleep didn’t require more time, effort or money because it was right there on my iPhone. For over five years, I’ve been able to get better sleep thanks to a hidden feature on my iPhone. This is what I discovered. The hidden iPhone feature that lulls me to sleep You can use the iPhone’s Background Sounds feature to play ambient soundscapes when you want to rest or focus. These include ocean (my favorite), rain, stream, night, fire, balanced noise, bright noise and dark noise. It’s basically a built-in white noise machine.  You can enable Background Sounds to play continuously, even when other media is playing, and adjust the volume accordingly. You can also set up a feature that lets you easily turn it off by locking your iPhone. I’ve never tried this, though, as I …

HBO Max on Last Mover Advantage, Quality Over Volume, UK Launch Date

HBO Max on Last Mover Advantage, Quality Over Volume, UK Launch Date

HBO Max, the streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), will continue its international expansion with launches in the U.K. and Ireland on March 26, top executives unveiled in London on Monday. The streamer will be available directly via hbomax.com, as well as via launch partners Sky, which was previously announced, and the newly unveiled Prime Video. JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming & games at WBD, and Andrew Georgiou, president and managing director for U.K. and Ireland and of WBD Sports Europe, touted the opportunity in the new markets, suggesting that the streaming age had turned the traditional benefits of the first mover advantage on their head. “Some may think we’re late to the streaming party, but our focus has been on harnessing the benefits of what we call the last mover advantage,” Perrette said. “We are likely the last scaled global streamer to come to market. We’ve tried to learn from the rest, and on this journey of strategic iteration and refinement that we’ve been on over these last several years, it’s led us to …

I tested the Philips OLED+950 TV for a month and the picture quality blew me away

I tested the Philips OLED+950 TV for a month and the picture quality blew me away

Picture quality is what Philips is aiming for, and this is one of the best-looking OLED TVs that you can buy. It has an advantage over Samsung, Sony and LG in that it supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats for great HDR results, regardless of the source. Philips has put extra effort into making scenes come to life with bright highlights and vibrant colours. There’s support for Filmmaker Mode, which is comfortably watchable on this TV. This can be too dark on some models and I’ve needed the “Movie” Motion Style to remove judder, but the Philips OLED+950 presents this content as the director intended. The picture processing can push things to be brighter, sharper and, in some cases, ultra-real, through the HDR Crystal Clear mode, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Crystal Clear offers a cooler picture with brighter highlights and more contrast. I watched Guardians of the Galaxy in this mode and the action jumped off the screen. Watching sci-fi series The Expanse, highlights were distractingly bright, with details like a white …

Morning sunlight shifts sleep cycles earlier and boosts quality

Morning sunlight shifts sleep cycles earlier and boosts quality

Spending more time in the sun early in the morning may help people fall into healthier sleep patterns, according to a new study published in BMC Public Health. Researchers found that morning light exposure shifts sleep timing earlier and improves sleep quality. Scientists have long known that sunlight plays a crucial role in regulating the body’s internal clock, which helps determine when people feel alert and when they feel sleepy. This internal clock relies heavily on light signals from the environment, particularly natural daylight. In recent decades, however, many people have spent less time outdoors due to office work, screen use, and urban living. These trends intensified during pandemic lockdowns, when outdoor movement was limited for months at a time. Led by Luiz Antônio Alves de Menezes-Júnior from the Federal University of Ouro Preto in Brazil, the researchers behind the new study wanted to better understand whether the timing of sunlight exposure matters, not just the total amount of sunlight people receive. Previous research suggested morning light might be especially important, but few large population …
