Armed police have reportedly been banned from royal residences over a series of “inappropriate” comments. A female member of staff at Kensington Palace, where the Prince and Princess of Wales still have a residence, issued a complaint about a string of comments, according to The Sun.  The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation into reports of “misogynistic” behaviour by its Royalty and Specialist Protection officers, though findings are not believed to be serious enough to reach the “misconduct” threshold.  The comments are said to have included remarks that the offices in the West London palace were “full of little Hitlers”.  Recommended videoYou may also likeWATCH: Prince William discusses Kate’s cancer on Heart FM Another cop allegedly tried to befriend the female member of staff on Facebook, which she found “inappropriate”.  The officers were cleared for duty after the investigation; however, action from the Royal Household meant they were relocated to other armed duties, the paper reported. Princess Charlene of Monaco has shared a rare photograph with her twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, to celebrate Mother’s Day in France.  Taking to Instagram, the royal, who is married to Prince Albert, had her arms around her children, making for a stunning family portrait.  Mother’s Day in France and Sweden is typically celebrated on the last Sunday of May. In France and Monaco, the day may be held on the first Sunday of June if the last Sunday of May falls on Pentecost. The Prince and Princess of Wales have moved into their “forever home” – but it hasn’t come cheap.  Prince William, 43, and Kate, 44, alongside their three children, relocated from Adelaide Cottage to eight-bedroom Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park in the autumn last year.  The royal couple has secured a 20-year lease on the property and intends to live there until at least 2045 as a “private family home”.  And according to The Telegraph, they paid an estimated £42,000 in stamp duty – a sum that usually incurs on the purchase of a property, rather than a rental – before making their big move.  Recommended videoYou may also likeWATCH: Prince William reveals pet dogs’ naughty habit at Forest Lodge It is a tax that is levied on property or land purchases in England or Northern Ireland. Princess Eugenie melted hearts on Saturday when she shared a selection of adorable photos of her youngest son, Ernie, as he marked his third birthday. In a selection of photos, the young royal could be seen playing with blue balloons and a blue football. Another photo saw him walking with his older brother, August, five, with Ernie’s sibling wearing a blue hoodie with the hood up. In all three of the photos, Ernie could be seen wearing his signature blue cap. However, the cutest photo was saved for last, and it featured the proud mum-of-two and her son sharing a kiss on the lips while standing underneath a tree covered with autumnal leaves. We all love a royal wedding, and despite them coming along like buses a few years ago (three within a year), we have had a bit of a drought of late. Crown Prince Haakon is cutting short his trip to Japan next week over the health of his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who he said earlier this week was “seriously ill”. A statement from the Palace read: “His Royal Highness the Crown Prince is shortening his official trip to Japan by one day due to the health situation of Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess.” The heir to the Norwegian throne was due to be hosted by Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako. While his visit will still include a trip to Tokyo, alongside a state dinner, his visit to Hachinohe has now been called off. Earlier this week, Haakon gave an update on his wife, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis back in 2018.
