Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The 35-year old, who is starring in the current all-star series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, revealed the news in a joint post with partner Scott Dobinson. Scarlett Johansson is getting candid about the challenges working as a young actress in the early 2000s, saying it was “socially acceptable” for women to be “pulled apart for how they looked.” The Oscar-nominated actress, who scored her breakout roles in 2003’s Lost in Translation and Girl with a Pearl Earring, said during a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning that it was a “really harsh time” during that period. “It was tough. There was a lot placed on how women looked,” Johansson explained. “What was offered at that time for women my age, as far as acting roles or opportunities, was much slimmer than it is now.” More than two decades later, the Jurassic World: Rebirth star is happy to see “much more empowering roles available” for young women now compared to when she was in her 20s, as it was “Slim Pickens” during her early days. “You would get really pigeon-holed and offered the same [roles]. John Leguizamo has joined the head-spinning cast of Mike Flanagan’s untitled The Exorcist feature, Blumhouse-Atomic Monster and Morgan Creek Entertainment’s new take on the horror classic. Flanagan wrote the script and is directing and producing the new feature, promising a “fresh and bold” take on the demonic possession story. And the feature, which begins production next week, is easily the most brightly starred Exorcist project in years. Scarlett Johansson, Jacobi Jupe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane are already loading up on the holy water. Flanagan wrote the script and is directing and producing the new feature that is not a remake nor a sequel but set in the Exorcist “universe.” While plot details are being kept under the sheets, it is known that Johansson plays a mother and Jupe her son. Leguizamo may be playing an antagonist. Universal Pictures will release the new film theatrically and has set a March 12, 2027, release date.
