The Prince of Wales went through all the emotions on Thursday night during a surprise appearance to watch his beloved football team play.
William, 43, was seen cheering Aston Villa on from the stands as he attended their semi-final Europa League match against Nottingham Forest at Villa Park in Birmingham.
He watched on as they soared to a 4-0 victory, appearing delighted with the result.

The game has very high stakes as the winner of the Europa League will seal a place in next season’s prestigious Champions League – and William was clearly feeling the pressure.
Explaining why he chose the team to support, he told Gary Lineker back in 2015: “A long time ago at school, I got into football big time. I was looking around for clubs. All my friends at school were either Man United fans or Chelsea fans and I didn’t want to follow the run-of-the-mill teams.”
“I wanted to have a team that was more mid-table that could give me more emotional rollercoaster moments. Aston Villa’s always had a great history.”
His son, Prince George, 12, appears to be following in his footsteps but William revealed last May that Prince Louis, eight, “supports about five different football teams”.
George did not appear to be present for the game on Thursday.
