Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s $33million ‘forever home’ next to surprising location leaves fans stunned

Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are building what could be their most personal project yet, a breathtaking $33 million ‘forever home’ on England’s South Coast that blends high design, family living and a back-to-nature lifestyle in the most unexpected of settings. According to reports, the Hollywood power couple have secured a sprawling 20-acre seafront site, where a striking new-build home is rising just moments from a naturist beach, a detail that has raised eyebrows, even if the famously confident duo are unlikely to be fazed. The property itself is nothing short of extraordinary. Designed in a bold brutalist architectural style, the single-level, U-shaped home has been meticulously planned around a central courtyard, complete with a sleek lap pool that forms the heart of the residence.  © Instagram Jason Statham’s new home is by the sea While the design is contemporary and minimalist, the materials, including clay brick, cedar shingle, oak and lead, lend it a warm, grounded feel that reflects its natural surroundings. Set against uninterrupted coastal views, the home boasts five bedrooms and its …

Jason Statham Asks Nothing of Me | Chloe Wilson

And for this I’m grateful. The scene:I’m in my convalescent’s nest—a corner of the sofa.Floral pajamas, oily roots. The pain refersinto my shoulders, as they foretold. A flashof the anesthetist: This will feel cold. Your face will prickle. A male voice: She’s out. Let’s do this. Now, in the weeks betweenvisits to the theater, I want nothingto do with human drama. Spare me the pathos, the redemption arc. What do I want? That’s easy. Meataxe logic. Justice in its roughestapproximation. I want boots crunching across broken glass,I want someone to throw themselves from a skyscraperonto a helicopter, I want atomic lawsto be a surmountable inconvenience, and the plot incidental, motivationspaper thin. Good merciful god, I want to watch thingsexplode. Is a little gelignitetoo much to ask? And then cued up like a giftis the filmography of Jason Statham. I am touched by the solicitude of the algorithm. One after another I consume them. I cannotget enough. Mafioso, secret agent, marineor criminal, it doesn’t matter, in every incarnationhe’s the same, plus or minus kevlar, beret, turtleneck. I watchas …

Jason Statham lands next film role – starring as Jason Statham

Throughout his film career, it’s fair to say that Jason Statham has mastered the art of playing a very particular type of character: bruising, intense, often rather taciturn action heroes who use their impressive physical abilities to get the better of their many enemies. It’s a role he’s played in everything from The Transporter to – most recently – Shelter, with almost every role he’s taken on in recent years fitting more or less into the same violent, stoic archetype. It’s the kind of filmography that might lead some fans to accuse him of “always playing the same character” – and it looks like he’s now taken that pattern to its logical extreme. That’s right: for his next role, Statham is due to star as none other than… Jason Statham. Want to see this content? We’re not able to show you this content from Google reCAPTCHA. Jason Statham is the modern-day Steve McQueen, says Shelter director

It’s become something of a tradition that every January brings with it a brand new Jason Statham action vehicle – and the latest entry in that ever-expanding canon arrives in UK cinemas this weekend. Shelter follows a fairly similar pattern to a lot of previous Statham flicks; he stars as a reclusive man with a mysterious, violent history who is called back into action when some shady figures from his past show up, teeing up all manner of stunts, car chases and brutal brawls. This time around his character is one-time assassin Mason, who we find living in exile at a lighthouse somewhere in the Outer Hebrides. But when a storm causes a dramatic boat accident that kills his fellow islander and former army pal, he finds himself caring for the friend’s young daughter. And it doesn’t take long after his first venture to the mainland for supplies before his whereabouts are located by his nefarious ex-employers, kicking off a high-octane action romp. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, who has previously helmed …
