Streaming Ratings March 23-29, 2026

A week after its newest batch of episodes put the show in second place on Nielsen’s streaming charts, Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black moved into the top overall spot. The Netflix drama recorded 1.36 billion minutes of viewing for the week of March 23-29. That’s down a little from 1.42 billion minutes the prior week, but with overall streaming volume down week to week, the small decline was enough for Beauty in Black to move up a place. The Pitt (1.21 billion minutes) essentially tied its all-time weekly high for the week of season two’s 12th hour. Taking it out one more decimal place, the HBO Max series had 1.208 billion minutes, just shy of the 1.209 billion for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1. Beauty in Black and The Pitt were the only titles to cross the billion-minute mark for the week as the previous week’s leader, Virgin River, fell 39 percent to 970 million minutes of watch time. Hulu’s Paradise (639 million minutes) returned to the original series chart after falling off a …

How Montana Ending Sets Up Season 2

[The story contains major spoilers from the season one finale of The Madison.] The Madison has brought a new family to the Sheridan-verse. And after the conclusion of its first season, the story of the Clyburns is only just getting started. The grief drama from Yellowstone hit-maker Taylor Sheridan introduced viewers to the Clyburns when it plucked them out of their New York City comforts and plopped them on an uncomfortable yet transformative six-episode tour through their grief in Montana. The first season was given an unusual release, as it streamed in two parts over the last two weekends on Paramount+, like two mini-movies — which is how the story could be viewed. The second season has already been filmed and is in the can, awaiting an official release date from the streamer, and the cast, in conversations with The Hollywood Reporter here, makes it clear that Sheridan plans to continue. “They’re hoping for season three,” star Michelle Pfeiffer tells THR. No official announcements have been made, but Sheridan usually gets what he wants. The …

‘The Madison’ Is Not a ‘Yellowstone’ Show; Sheridan Plans Many Seasons

[This story contains a major spoiler from The Madison‘s first three episodes.] If you were expecting a Dutton to walk into a scene of The Madison, you aren’t the only one. “We kept waiting for a script to drop where a Dutton would come,” Patrick J. Adams, who plays the man who married into The Madison‘s starring Clyburn family, tells The Hollywood Reporter about reading his first scripts of the Taylor Sheridan series. “That was certainly a question because that’s how it was in the world. And when we asked about it, it was like, ‘No, no, no. This is an independent thing. This is its own thing.’” The Madison was first announced back in 2023, when Paramount Network also confirmed that TV’s No. 1 series, Yellowstone, was plotting its endgame. The Madison then had a working title of 2024 and was described as the first-ever Yellowstone sequel. The present-day story was said to take place after the events of Yellowstone, and would continue exploring the Dutton family dynasty “with new characters and locations, as well as some existing characters.” …

Michelle Pfeiffer.Series Gets First Teaser

Viewers who tuned into the season two finale of Landman caught the first teaser trailer for another highly anticipated series in the Taylor Sheridan-verse on Sunday. The Madison, one of several Yellowstone offshoots, had revealed first-look photos earlier this week of the Michelle Pfeiffer-led starry cast, and now the series has shared a brief, 30-second glimpse (below) into the new Yellowstone-verse offering. The Madison premieres Saturday, March 14 with a six-episode season that centers around New York City family the Clyburns, who live in the Madison River valley of central Montana. It’s not yet known if they are connected the Duttons of Yellowstone proper. The Madison has been described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection” and a “profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation.” Paramount+ is also touting the spinoff as one of Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date,” revealing that the present-day set series will unfold “across two distinct worlds — the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan — as it examines …
