The shirt is a “symbol of part of the emotional heritage of our club and what it stands for”, Marian Mourino Terrazo wrote in the letter. She posted the letter on her Instagram page and that of the club, which is based in Vigo, Galicia, Wednesday. Terrazo began her note by asking the singer “for your help with something that means a great deal to us”. Trends may change from year to year, but some things—like black dresses, red lipstick, and Meryl Streep—are never out of place on the red carpet at the Oscars. Just as all of the glam above will almost certainly appear at the Oscars 2026 on Sunday, March 15, they were all present on the Oscars red carpet 20 years ago. The awards ceremony itself was full of surprises, from all four major acting winners—Reese Witherspoon, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel Weisz, and George Clooney—being first-time nominees, Crash pulling off a best picture upset over awards season favorite Brokeback Mountain, and more. Not a surprise, however, was the outstanding style attendees displayed on the red carpet two decades ago. They say that you never forget your first…outfit worn to the Oscars, that is. For many stars, the Oscars 2026 will mark their Academy Awards debut. Good for them! But many of the Oscars 2026 nominees have also been around the block—or should we say, down the red carpet—a time or two before, whether their first time attending the ceremony was just a few years ago or as far back as a few decades ago. For example, this may be the first time that Michael B. A few lucky fans were in for a treat at the BAFTA Film Awards 2026 when a tuxedoed Leonardo DiCaprio—nominated for Best Actor for his turn in One Battle After Another—took the time to sign autographs for them. King Charles was seen leaving his church in Gloucestershire on Sunday, 22 February, putting on a brave face during this difficult time for the British royal family, but it seems that he also used his clothing to keep the simpler times close to heart. The monarch was seen walking beside the vicar, wearing a blue shirt with a navy and red tie, but it was his beige overcoat that especially caught our attention, as it’s actually a piece with some history in the family. King Charles wearing his father’s coat in 2023 Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip’s son has worn the coat on multiple occasions in the past, including to the Palm Sunday service in 2023 in Gloucestershire, and it’s a sweet way of keeping his father’s memory close to his heart. But during the closing weekend of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, the options expanded to include designer drip, courtesy of one Ilia Malinin. There are certain annoyances women are just forced to accept, specifically the abysmal design of bras. Framed as being unfixable, one woman took to Reddit to point out that if men were forced to wear bras, chances are high they would be a whole lot more comfortable than they are. Her specific gripe? The inevitable and common occurrence of the underwire in bras somehow breaking free of their seams and stabbing our delicate skin, usually during a time of day when we don’t have the option of simply taking our bras off. Women have been wearing the modern bra design since around 1914, and you would think in those 112 years, modern technology would have designed and developed something not only supportive but incredibly comfortable. No such luck.
