A 21-year-old man who turns over £280,000 of revenue a month by reselling clothes said he was “always adamant” he would “never need grades” to succeed in life. Robbie Cartwright, from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, said his father had his own business and his mother was a school dinner lady, so he had a “fairly working-class upbringing” – but his “business acumen was always there at a young age”. At eight years old, he bought bracelets in bulk and started selling them by putting them in trays in pubs, estimating he made up to £500 over two months in total for charity.
