Xiaomi has officially filed for the YU7 GT, a nearly 1,000-horsepower performance version of its popular YU7 electric SUV that will hit a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph), making it one of the fastest electric SUVs ever built. The filing appeared today in China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) regulatory catalog, revealing a widebody beast that positions Xiaomi squarely against any high-performance SUVs.
