Pamela Anderson took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share some stunning images of Sonsie, the beauty brand she co-founded, for its latest campaign.
In the shots, you can see various images of flowers, with the actress shrunken down to tiny proportions alongside them. With her blonde hair and elfin stance, she is likened to the Disney character of Tinkerbell in the images – the film star appears as a flower fairy as she gazes up at the blooms.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” she penned. In one picture, the mother-of-two is wearing a slinky pastel evening gown, complete with a keyhole detail and a ruched waist. Stunning.
Speaking about the idea behind the campaign, The Last Showgirl star told Byrdie: “We’ve been on a mission to peel back the layers of what traditional beauty has been and lean more into the idea that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.”
The 58-year-old also involved her adoring sons, Brandon and Dylan, whom she shares with former rockstar husband Tommy Lee. “It was so much fun working with my boys, she explained, “Dylan runs all of the brand and creative, and Brandon is a marketing genius. They have such a strong vision on set and really know how to bring these ideas to life. My assistant Jonathan did the styling, so we really kept this one in the family,” she added.
Pamela’s natural beauty
Much has been made of Pamela’s beauty awakening over the years, which has seen the former Baywatch star shunning her signature ’90s makeup look of vampy, smoky eye makeup, copious amounts of fake tan, and overlined lips for pared-back, almost totally bare skin. Since 2023, she’s become a strong advocate for the natural look, inspiring women all over the world to go bare-faced.
Not long after her first appearance sans makeup at Paris Fashion Week, Pamela mused on her decision, telling The Today Show: “I am much more comfortable in my own skin, but I am also in an industry that really focuses on beauty. And I thought, ‘I’m going to challenge beauty.”
“I think challenging ourselves is what keeps us young and beautiful. And I think, really genuinely, beauty does come from within, and you don’t have to play the game,” she added.
