I’ve tested every pair of headphones on this list, and recommend all of them for different reasons. Since their initial release, I’ve kept tabs on their retail prices to gauge how substantial a seasonal deal is. The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 launched at $429 in April 2025 and has since increased to $479, likely due to global economic factors. The Sony WH-1000XM6 launched at $449 in May 2025 and has increased to $460, likely for the same reasons.

Conversely, the Sonos Ace launched at $449 in June 2024 and has since dropped to $399, likely to achieve a competitive price for an older product. Every other product on this list’s MSRP has remained unchanged since its initial release. Here are the best deals right now.

When is Amazon Prime Day?
This year’s Amazon Prime Day begins on Tuesday, June 23, and ends on Friday, June 26. Usually, Prime Day occurs in July, so prepare for the sale to begin a month early.
Are headphones really cheaper on Prime Day?
Yes, usually you can find great deals and discounts on headphones during Amazon’s Prime Day sale. Newer models released in 2025 might see a $50 to $80 discount, while older models may receive a $100+ discount. Only a few models, especially those manufactured in 2025, may have an increased MSRP, and therefore a less exciting deal.
How did we choose these early Amazon Prime Day deals?
We come across several headphone deals throughout the year, but we only highlight the ones we have tested and would either buy ourselves or recommend to friends and family.
Our experts looked for deals that were at least 20% off (or were hardly ever on sale), using established price-comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal was actually on sale and how often it dropped.
We also looked over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the deals we’re recommending. Our recommendations may also be based on our own testing — in addition to extensive research and comparison shopping. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice to help you shop smarter.
