Brigitte Macron’s daughter, Tiphaine Auzière, 42, has hard launched her new lover, 22-year-old Antoine Lecomte. The pair looked incredibly loved up as they appeared on Tiphaine’s Instagram feed, in candid clips from a recent 48-hour trip to Amsterdam. 

The lawyer appears to be following in her own mother’s footsteps with a blossoming age-gap relationship as Brigitte’s romance with French President Emmanuel Macron features a 25-year age difference. 

It is believed the pair met this summer in the chic northern French coastal town of Le Touquet, and now their union has seen them share a romantic road trip.

This relationship follows the end of Tiphaine’s 15-year partnership with gastroenterologist Antoine Choteau, who is father of her two children, Élise and Aurèle.

Who is Antoine Lecomte?

Tiphaine’s new beau Antoine is a student studying Business Administration, and he was working as a kitesurfing instructor over the summer, where he first met the lawyer. He taught the sports-loving Tiphaine how to ride an e-foil (an electric surfboard), and sparks instantly flew between lessons.

The videos of their Amsterdam getaway showed that they visited the Faralda Crane Hotel, as well as toured the city’s artistic hangouts and indulged in sweet ice cream dates. They were also spotted soaking up the atmosphere together at the Touquet Music Beach festival shortly after.

Proving that the relationship is going from strength to strength, Tiphaine has reportedly already taken the significant step of introducing Antoine to her two children, a major milestone in their flourishing love story.

Brigitte and Emmanuel’s love story 

Brigitte and Emmanuel famously met at La Providence high school in Amiens when she was a 39-year-old drama teacher and he was a 15-year-old student.

Brigitte admitted she waited a decade before officially marrying Emmanuel to shield her three children from the backlash in the public eye, explaining: “I took time so I wouldn’t wreck their lives… You can imagine what they were hearing. But I didn’t want to miss out on my life, either.”

Tiphaine, who was just nine years old when her mother’s relationship began, has always been a fierce defender of the couple’s romance. In 2018, she movingly shared: “If I had to give an image of love, it would be Emmanuel and Mum.”

Brigitte has hilariously once said: “Emmanuel’s only fault is to be younger than me.”

Now, with history repeating itself, Brigitte is reportedly happy for her daughter who has found love again.
