France v England World Cup 2026 TV channel, live stream, kick-off time

After the agonising defeat to Argentina, England face France in the World Cup 2026 third-place play-off at the Miami Stadium on Saturday.

The Three Lions were dreaming of a place in the final for the first time in 60 years after Anthony Gordon fired them into the lead over the reigning champions in the 55th minute of Wednesday’s semi-final.

Thomas Tuchel’s team attempted to defend the advantage, however, and the head coach’s substitutions backfired as Argentina – inspired by Lionel Messi – struck late through Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martinez to break English hearts.

France were the favourites to win the World Cup after Kylian Mbappe spearheaded a series of devastating displays in the earlier rounds, but their hopes were ended by a well-drilled Spain side in Tuesday’s first semi.

Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro struck either side of the break to condemn Les Bleus to defeat and ensure French manager Didier Deschamps’s 14-year reign will end on a relatively anti-climactic note.

While there are are many excellent blogs devoted to the topics of faith, humanism, atheism, political viewpoints, and wider kinds of rationalism and philosophical doubt, those are not the only focus here.Im going to blog about what ever comes to my mind in a day.
