’30 Rock,’ ‘The Cobbler’ Actor Was 52

Grizz Chapman, best known for appearing on NBC’s sitcom 30 Rock, has died. He was 52. Chapman’s co-star, Kevin Brown, on the series, confirmed in a Facebook post that he died Friday. “I regret to inform you that Mack Chapman aka Grizz Chapman passed today,” he wrote in a caption of photos of them in the show. “May he RIP.” For all seven seasons, Chapman appeared on 30 Rock. He played Grizz Griswold, a bodyguard and member of Tracy Jordan’s (played by Tracy Morgan) entourage. Meanwhile, Brown played Tracy’s other bodyguard, Dot Com. Chapman and Jordan met when Chapman was working as a bouncer at a strip club and they went on to become friends. Alec Baldwin Set for THR’s ‘Awards Chatter’ Podcast

Alec Baldwin, the award-winning actor who has distinguished himself on the stage and screen for nearly a half-century, will sit down with yours truly at the upcoming Boulder International Film Festival for a career-retrospective conversation that will also be recorded as an episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. The event will kick off at 7:45 pm on Saturday, April 11, at the historic Boulder Theater. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 13, at BIFF1.com. Baldwin, 67, first made his name in films such as 1988’s Beetlejuice, Working Girl and Married to the Mob and 1990’s The Hunt for Red October.
