You should never upstage a bride and groom at their wedding – and it’s safe to say that Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) was thoroughly unimpressed by Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) proposal at her wedding to Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw). The EastEnders love rat decided that, with everyone looking down their noses on his relationship to Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), he should propose and prove his commitment. It’s safe to say that Cindy was stunned. They’ve only been together for a matter of weeks, and she wasn’t ready to tie the knot. The Walford community crowded around Max to reprimand him, and he tried to assure them that it was just a joke and he didn’t mean it. Cindy was deeply offended when she realised that the ring he’d used to propose with had been found on a table, and rushed off to rejoin the party. Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) stands to lose everything in EastEnders, after accidentally knocking over Jordan Fox (Jahsaiah Williams) with his car. He was desperate to guide drunken mum Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) away from Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) and Ross Marshall’s (Alex Walkinshaw) wedding, unaware that the youngster was roaming the streets, having grown tired of the party. His mum Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) ordered him to return to the marquee, and screamed out into the night after finding him unconscious on the floor. Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) raced over, and after finding a traffic cone marked with Ian’s name to reserve the parking spot, instructed his colleagues to pay him a visit. Peter Beale (Thomas Law) called an ambulance and was able to confirm that Jordan was still breathing, while Jack reached out to partner Denise Fox (Diane Parish) to inform her what was unfolding. Warning: Spoilers ahead for From season 4 episode 6. Already, From season 4 has given us plenty of twists and turns, but fans are worried that history is about to repeat itself with a recent twist involving Henry. The latest episode of the MGM mystery-horror, which returned this week after a mid-season break, saw Sophia (Julia Doyle), target Henry (Robert Joy) in a big way. In a disturbing scene, Sophia (Julia Doyle) – who we know is a puppet of the villainous Man in Yellow – took advantage of Henry’s vulnerability, before spiking his drink with her own blood. The consequences of that gruesome moment haven’t been revealed just yet, but fans are concerned that it could see Henry fall under Sophia’s control – and perhaps even go down the same route as Boyd’s wife Abby (Lisa Ryder), who, driven to a breakdown after witnessing the horrors of the town, went on a shooting spree. ‘The Night That Changes Everything’ has kicked off in EastEnders, with a particularly traumatic instalment for Denise Fox (Diane Parish). There was also drama for Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), but thus far, he has absolutely no idea. It was confirmed last month that Denise would be diagnosed with blood cancer. The storyline is set to play out throughout the remainder of the year and into 2027, exploring the impact the illness will have on not only her, but those around her. Today’s action picked up from the moment she received her diagnosis – acute myeloid leukaemia – a particularly aggressive form of cancer which requires an immediate treatment. Albert Square’s revolving door is back in business, as four EastEnders characters have left during yet another dramatic episode. It’s been a busy old week in Walford, with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) returning after two years to tell ex-fiancé Zack Hudson (James Farrar) that she had moved on with a new fella. This spurred him on to open his heart to Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) once again, though she reassured him that her commitment was towards husband-to-be Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw). In retaliation, Zack alluded to Ross that Vicki had been cheating again. It didn’t take him long to realise that Zack was referring to himself, and at the alter, he asked her outright whether this was true. Her silence was very telling, and in today’s episode, it all kicked off. Ross rushed out of the marquee as Vicki tired to explain herself, and planted a huge punch across Zack’s face. Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) has reached breaking point in Coronation Street amid his trolling ordeal. The floor fell from beneath his feet when Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) addressed his concerns about Daniel’s girlfriend Megan Walsh’s (Beth Nixon) relationship with teenager Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale). He was present when police arrested her, and was totally convinced by her insistence that Will just had a schoolboy crush. At this point, Megan was pregnant. She hoped that police would believe Daniel was the father, and that she’d decided to keep it from him for fears that he wasn’t ready to become a parent again. Take a deep breath, EastEnders fans. Two legendary characters have departed Albert Square, as another beloved local arrived home. Today’s episode kicked off with Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) suspicions about Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) being confirmed. The keys that Mark had dropped in the car lot while he was trying to rob the safe were a perfect match for the Mitchell residence’s kitchen door, meaning that he was surely the man responsible for the dealership’s recent vehicle thefts. Armed with his evidence, Max and girlfriend Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) publicly accused him, and Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) leapt to his defence. Having teamed up with him to sell some dodgy motors, she couldn’t risk being implicated. Suddenly, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) appeared and made another attempt to connect with his estranged son. It’s the end of an era in EastEnders… Julie Bates (Karen Henthorn) has left Albert Square to travel across India. Henthorn reprised her role after 27 years away in July last year. This followed a brief voice-only appearance in the previous January. Julie was seeking estranged husband Nigel (Paul Bradley), who had come to Walford after receiving a young-onset dementia diagnosis. He didn’t want to burden her, and had instead struck up an agreement with old pal Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), where he would live with him and eventually act as his carer when the time came. She gave Phil a frosty reception, believing he was in the wrong for harbouring Nigel’s ill health from her, though eventually softened upon learning that they were her husband’s wishes. George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is pretty convinced he knows who killed Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in Coronation Street. The abuser was found dead in the back yard of the corner shop last month, and since then, a large-scale murder investigation has taken place. George was the first in a long line of potential suspects to be questioned, after Theo’s blood was found on his jumper. There was also a large portion of the evening that he spent on a walk alone, and it wasn’t long before his partner Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) was hauled into the interview room to see if she could support his story. Ultimately, the Weatherfield policing team had very little evidence to formally arrest him, and so they turned their attentions to Gary Windass (Mikey North). The builder had destroyed Theo’s van just hours before the death, and also sent him a threatening text message. Did Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) kill Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in Coronation Street? As it stands, a mountain of evidence is stacked against her – and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is convinced that she was responsible for his death. Last month, following wedding celebrations on the cobbles, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) found his body in the corner shop backyard. Attentions initially turned to George, who was noticeably absent for much of the evening, and then to his partner Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins). DC Kit Green’s (Jacob Roberts) theory is that Gary Windass (Mikey North) is responsible, though his alibi has been backed up by wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon). Earlier this week, George was startled to find a very incriminating page of Summer’s journal, that detailed her desire to aim a gun at Theo’s head.
