Nine people have been taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a primary school in Nottinghamshire. Police cars and ambulances descended on Jesse Gray Primary School in West Bridgford after receiving a call at around 2.17pm on Wednesday, June 3. The nature of the incident is currently unclear, however a police spokesperson said it is not being treated as a crime. Police initially reported two pupils had been taken to hospital, however East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) has now confirmed nine patients were transported to the Queen’s Medical Centre. “The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent a number of resources including paramedics in ambulance cars, crewed ambulances and our hazardous area response team,” a spokesperson said. “A responder from the air ambulance was also in attendance. Nine patients were transported to Queen’s Medical Centre.” Councillor Jonathan Wheeler, who represents West Bridgford South at the county council, said he had been contacted by residents who were “concerned after spotting a large number of ambulances outside Jesse Gray School”. LONDON, April 4 (Reuters) – British police arrested a ⁠fourth ⁠person in connection with an ⁠arson attack on Jewish community ambulances, with the detention happening at a ​London court where three males already charged in the case were appearing, prosecutors said on Saturday. Hamza Iqbal, 20, ‌Rehan Khan, 19, and a ‌17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, are accused of torching four ambulances belonging to ⁠the Jewish ⁠volunteer emergency service Hatzola on March 23 while they were parked near ​a synagogue in the Golders Green area of north London. Two young men and a 17-year-old boy have been remanded in custody after appearing in court over an arson attack on Jewish volunteer ambulances in Golders Green. LONDON (AP) — Four ambulances belonging to a Jewish charity were set on fire early Monday in London in what British police are investigating as an antisemitic hate crime. Detectives are working to determine whether a claim of responsibility from a group with alleged links to Iran is authentic. Though it has not been classified as a terrorist incident, counterterror officers have been put in charge of the investigation. No one was injured in the nighttime attack, which shattered windows in nearby homes and left the vehicles charred shells. “We are pursuing all lines of inquiry, including an online claim of responsibility by an Islamist group who have claimed other attacks across Europe and have potential Iranian state links,” said Mark Rowley, chief of London’s Metropolitan Police.
