Kelly Osbourne took to social media to celebrate her nephew Elijah turning 18, and fans showed plenty of love for the photos. In one standout snap, Kelly was beaming alongside the handsome teen, who rocked a white Prada T-shirt and a sly smile. A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a house fire which led to the deaths of a seven-year-old girl and her aunt. Police rushed to the scene of the blaze at Birchington Avenue in Grangetown at 5.23am on August 26. Natalie McDonald, 34, and her niece, Valentina Foster, both lost their lives in the incident, while four others sustained injuries. Jaden Wright, 23, appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with two counts of murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and two counts of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent. Dressed in a grey T-shirt and grey trousers, Wright spoke only to greet his solicitor Helen Jones as he entered the dock, the Mirror reports. He was remanded in custody to appear before Teesside Crown Court on Thursday. Betye Saar, a Los Angeles artist who transformed collections of bigoted bric-a-brac — Sambo dolls, ceramic mammies and crude renderings of pickaninnies — into potent works of assemblage that mined the searing history of race in the United States, and whose works influenced generations of artists, has died. She was 99. Saar died in her sleep — just a few days short of her 100th birthday — in Los Angeles, her longtime gallerist Julie Roberts at Roberts Projects said. In a September interview with The Independent, Hidebrandt’s niece, Jessi, shared how difficult it was to speak publicly about the mistreatment they endured from their aunt amid the disgraced YouTuber Ruby Franke and Jodi’s child abuse scandal. Franke, a Utah mother of six and former parenting YouTuber known for her channel 8 Passengers, and her business partner/therapist Hildebrandt, were arrested in August 2023 after Franke’s 12-year-old son escaped from Hildebrandt’s home. He was found malnourished, with open wounds bound by duct tape. Authorities later discovered Franke’s 10-year-old daughter in a similar condition. Both women were charged with multiple counts of aggravated child abuse and last year were sentenced to serve between four and 30 years …
