She may be the Queen Consort but Camilla is just like us mere mortals when it comes to her home comforts, according to her son. In a new interview, Tom Parker Bowles, 51, shares that his mother, 79, is a “big walker,” makes “amazing scrambled eggs” and read to him and his sister, Laura Lopes, “every night” when they were children. The food writer and critic spoke to Scottish regional newspaper, The Press & Journal, about his catch-ups with Queen Camilla at Balmoral after appearing at the Braemar Literary Festival. “We’re big walkers… and it’s just so different from London, obviously,” he said.
