Demi Moore shocked fans when she swapped out her usual waist-length brunette locks for a chic bob on the Cannes red carpet, following a clean sweep of incredible looks at the iconic film festival. The 63-year-old attended the La Bola Negra premiere on Thursday alongside actress Penelope Cruz, who has a supporting role in the film. Demi turned heads as soon as she stepped on the red carpet, clad in a strapless electric blue dress with oversized ruffling around the hips and a dramatic train, courtesy of Self Portrait.  She accessorized with an eye-catching diamond necklace, yet the star of the show was her newly shortened hair, which was styled in curls that fell to her shoulders. Dame Joan Collins  proved that cowgirl chic has a place at the Chelsea Flower Show as she attended the annual RHS gardening event on Wednesday. The Dynasty actress, 92, stepped out to view the Lady Garden Foundation’s Silent No More Garden while donning a fabulous neutral ensemble. The standout element of Joan’s look was her cropped suede jacket, which featured tassels on the front and sleeves. Some rules were made to be broken, especially, it seems, in Cannes, where celebrities have defied the festival’s “explicit” no nudity rules by continuing to embrace the ‘naked dress’ trend. In 2025, the Cannes Film Festival enforced dress code rules, prohibiting nudity on the red carpet and “any other area of the festival” for “decency reasons.” That rule includes the celebrity-favored ‘naked’ dress, defined by barely-there materials such as sheer mesh, tulle, lace, or crystals, that create the illusion of nudity while clothed. “The aim is not to regulate attire per se, but to prohibit full nudity on the red carpet, in accordance with the institutional framework of the event and French law,” a statement from the festival read. While some guests, like Demi Moore, have abided by the dress code, others have ignored it completely or challenged the rules in semi-sheer fabrics.
