Fashion, Hirst says, “is art that you can wear.” It’s what he liked about the prospect of working with Barrie. “I come from a museum world where people go ‘don’t touch it.’ In the art world, we all believe that art is a sacred thing,” But fashion, because it’s wearable and has a practical use, rarely undergoes the same canonization. “But, in a way, the reason why I wear it is because it’s already art,” Hirst says. If you’ve ever wondered what an art collection assembled by a Korean pop star looks like, look no further than the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA)’s latest exhibition, “RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me.” The show will feature works from the personal collection of RM, the BTS superstar announced Tuesday on KTVU FOX 2 San Francisco. The news was first reported by Billboard. The 32-year-old singer said he began assembling his collection about eight years ago, often during visits to museums. This Tuesday, September 29, it was Dior’s turn to unveil its upcoming summer collection—the looks that will define spring and summer 2027. Amid glorious Parisian weather, with temperatures hovering around 80 degrees, it’s suddenly easier to picture the future. Still dressed in summer clothing, loyal brand ambassadors and guests filled the front row at the French fashion house. Among them were Camille Cottin, Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Louis Garrel, and South Korean singer Jisoo. Stray Kids star Hyunjin had the crowd cheering, as did Rosalía, who never misses a show by the brand. Cynthia Erivo was also in attendance, as were skier Eileen Gu, Rebecca Marder, and Lena Mahfouf. Héloïse Agostinelli—the daughter of the late Mathilde Favier, Dior’s former director of public relations—couldn’t miss this event; it was the brand’s first fashion show since her mother’s passing. For the eighth iteration of its “Artycapucines” collection, Louis Vuitton collaborated with the Keith Haring Foundation to create 13 new bag designs dedicated to the work of late American artist Keith Haring, WWD reported. The bags will feature Haring’s bold graphic imagery, including his signature Running Heart and Radiant Baby dancing figures among the compositions. The designs will further incorporate such craft techniques as traditional leather marquetry and laser printing that transform Louis Vuitton’s iconic Capucines handbag into a wearable canvas.
