Davina McCall forced to apologise live on air after major slip-up during Comic Relief
Davina McCall was forced to issue an apology on behalf of her co-star while presenting Comic Relief’s live show on the BBC. The 58-year-old TV star was joined by comedian Nick Mohammed for the charity event’s Red Nose Day, which raises funds for communities needing food, healthcare and shelter. During his challenge, which was to complete eight Rubik’s Cubes in one minute, the 45-year-old muttered expletives as he struggled to finish the brain teaser. While he tipped away at the cubes, his former Celebrity Traitors co-star Joe Marler, 35, dressed in drag, tried to disrupt him on stage using a water pistol. After the 60 seconds were up and Nick had failed to complete the challenge, he turned the cubes around to show them arranged into the word sorry, which he meant as an apology for his banishment of the former England rugby player on the game show hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
