Prince Harry celebrated Father’s Day 2026 surrounded by his loving family: his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and two adorable children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Meghan paid tribute to her husband on Instagram, sharing a lovely photograph of the red-haired royal embracing his children in a bear hug.  The As Ever founder gushed about how “lucky” their children are to have Harry, 41, as a dad, as she shared the wholesome, rare photo from their private family album. Harry looked joyful as he smiled at the camera, clutching his offspring, who both share the red-hair gene!  Mini fashionista Lilibet, five, looked adorable in a floaty summer top and a white skirt covered with floral embroidery, and had a pair of white sunglasses perched on top of her tumbling red locks. Jordan Rodney was shot dead (Image: MET POLICE) A man has been jailed for life after shooting his cousin dead and injuring his brother at a family wake. Jahmel Joseph, 29, shot Jordan Rodney in the eye, then hit his brother Omar Joseph in the head and hand at a gathering in Hammersmith, west London, on June 11, 2025. The next day, Joseph, who has schizophrenia, sped away from police, crashed his Mercedes into multiple cars and then ran through gardens to evade arrest. In his defence, Joseph claimed that in his psychotic state he feared Mr Rodney would kill him. Joseph, of Ealing, west London, was led away from the dock at the Old Bailey on Thursday after being given a life sentence with a minimum 39-year term. It comes after a jury had found him guilty of murder, attempted murder, having a firearm with intent to endanger life, dangerous driving and possessing a shotgun. A fossil bed in northwestern China has been telling a strange story for years. Scattered through its rocks are the remains of more than 100 prehistoric birds, some preserved as partial skeletons, others broken into dense clusters of crushed bones that resemble the pellets modern owls cough up after feeding. Those shattered remains suggested that something larger was hunting the birds. Yet despite decades of work at the site, no one had found the likely culprit. Now that may have changed. In a paper published in the Annals of Carnegie Museum, researchers describe a new species of dinosaur from the Changma Basin, a feathered predator called Jian changmaensis. The animal belonged to the dromaeosaurs, a group of bird-like theropod dinosaurs that included Velociraptor, and the team says it is the best candidate yet for the missing predator in this bird-rich fossil bed. India Hicks confirmed the death of her mother, Lady Pamela Hicks, on Friday, with the designer penning a moving tribute to the cousin of the late Prince Philip. Alongside a black-and-white image of her late mother, India penned: “My mother died peacefully today. Whilst there is no tragedy in the death of a 97-year-old who has lived a full life I know grief will be unavoidable, lurking around waiting for me, but today I am simply grateful that she was my Mother. Paleontologists have documented over 100 prehistoric avian dinosaur remains buried across the region, many resembling the digestive pellets regurgitated by owls living today. For years, researchers suspected that a similar predator was responsible for the fossil fragments, but lacked a convincing candidate. Experts now have a plausible suspect.
