Honor’s new Robot Phone dances to music and talks to you

Honor’s new Robot Phone dances to music and talks to you

Putting a gimbal (the motorised arm) in a phone doesn’t immediately make it a robot. That comes from the sort of sentience it offers. Rather than just using the camera to take pictures, it’s as much a way to control the phone as it is a method of capture, with the AI behind the camera giving it a level of personality. That’s the robot part. Phones have been moving towards a more personalised experience over the past few years, with the learning ability of AI allowing for responses that are specific to you. Apps like ChatGPT and Gemini enable long conversations to develop ideas, while also recognising what the camera can see. Honor makes it more interactive, with the camera making its own physical movements that reflect what it can see and what you’re doing. At a basic level, that includes following your face so that you’re always in the frame of a video call. The camera can also dance along to music, nod, shake and look around. What can the Honor Robot Phone actually …

Vinicius Jnr dances with joy in fitting end to toxic Benfica tie

Vinicius Jnr dances with joy in fitting end to toxic Benfica tie

It was the first time that the Real Madrid forward has scored in both legs of a knockout tie. His timing was excellent as was his strength of character with Trent Alexander-Arnold saying: “What happened last week has happened. I don’t want to say it’s in the past because I don’t want to downplay how big an issue it is and what actually happened. But our focus was getting through, that’s all that mattered to us. It was about winning the game, let our football do the talking. “It was not so much he needed to score to send a message or show his mentality. We know what he’s like. He doesn’t need to prove anything because he has shown it time and time again how good he is. He steps up when we need him most.” He did indeed. Real have players injured, and the likes of Jude Bellingham made their way to the dugout for the final whistle, but there is little for Manchester City to fear if they draw the 15-time winners …

Love you, Miche!” the former president, 64, wrote Sunday on Instagram. “We would be frankly unstoppable”: Trump dances around Greenland threats at Davos

Donald Trump continued to push for the U.S. acquisition of Greenland at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday. The president’s speech at the annual gathering in Davos was full of semi-veiled threats to Denmark and Europe. The president repeatedly referred to Greenland, which is a semi-autonomous territory of Kingdom of Denmark as a “piece of ice.” Trump said the U.S. would be “frankly unstoppable” if they decided to take Greenland by force, but hoped it wouldn’t come to that. “I don’t have to use force. I don’t want to use force. I won’t use force. All the United States is asking for is a place called Greenland,” he said. “That’s probably the biggest statement I’ve made.” A seemingly confused  Trump once referred to the area as Iceland during the hour-long speech . “Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland,” he said. “So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money.” On  Tuesday,  Trump’s European tariff threats triggered  biggest daily stock market drop in months over Greenland opposition. The S&P 500 …
