Apple Adds Three Executives to Leadership Page

Apple on Friday added three new executive profiles to its leadership page for Jennifer Newstead, Molly Anderson, and Steve Lemay. Jennifer Newstead, Senior Vice President and General Counsel: Newstead is Apple’s top lawyer, overseeing all legal matters. She assumed the position on March 1, succeeding Katherine Adams, who had held the position since 2017. Prior to joining Apple, Newstead served as Meta’s chief legal officer for six years. Molly Anderson, Vice President of Industrial Design: Anderson and her team are responsible for the design of all Apple products, accessories, and their packaging. Anderson joined Apple in 2014, and she has led the Industrial Design team since 2024, although it is unclear when she officially became a VP. Anderson succeeds Jony Ive and Evans Hankey, among others. Steve Lemay, Vice President of Human Interface Design: Lemay joined Apple in 1999, and he now leads the team responsible for software design across Apple’s platforms. Apple TV’s Second-Largest Market Is Brazil, Says Eddy Cue

Apple’s SVP of services Eddy Cue has revealed that Brazil is Apple TV’s second-largest market by subscriber count and its fastest-growing, in an interview with Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo (via 9to5Mac). Speaking on the sidelines of Apple’s recent media event in Santa Monica where the company previewed its 2026 content slate, Cue acknowledged that Apple has yet to produce any original content in Brazil. Competitors like Netflix, Amazon, and Disney, meanwhile, have turned the country into a major production hub, leaving Apple in catch-up mode. “It doesn’t move as quickly as I’d like, especially if you want to be truly good, but we’ll get there,” Cue said. “I know Brazilians want quality – I appreciate that – and I also know there’s a lot of opportunity in Brazil to create strong content.” Cue also reaffirmed Apple’s commitment to theatrical releases through distribution partnerships, pointing to the success of “F1: The Movie,” which was released in theaters by Warner Bros. and went on to earn an Oscar nomination. Apple TV closed its inaugural press day in Santa Monica on Tuesday by welcoming the company’s Eddy Cue to the Barker Hangar stage for a conversation with Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, who flew in last night from Europe for the event. It’s no surprise two were given such a showcase during the big day, as their chat arrived on the heels of Joseph Kosinski’s F1: The Movie snagging an impressive four Academy Award nominations (including a best picture nod), and on the eve of Apple TV becoming the exclusive U.S. broadcast home for F1 races.
