Many AI researchers seem to firmly believe that the technology they are developing could someday prove very dangerous. What’s less clear—even among AI’s technical elite—is precisely how to keep these mercurial algorithms in check. In recent years researchers have thrown around all sorts of ideas for preventing AI from turning nasty. They include less controversial plans such as tighter government regulations, new ways of measuring progress, and probing the inner workings of models, as well as more outlandish proposals like placing tracking devices inside GPUs, and even ceremonially destroying large numbers of AI chips. Many Gen Zers are doing a full circle on parenting styles, trading in millennials’ gentle parenting techniques for old-school consequences. Even so, Gen Z would think many of the rules that parents enforced when their kids were growing up in the 60s and 70s are truly horrible if they saw them put into practice now. Princess Anne has earned herself a few titles over the years, one being the hardest working royal and another, the most down-to-earth royal, so it was perhaps no surprise to find out she was teetotal and enjoyed a limited diet of basic foods.  The 75-year-old attended a whopping 478 royal engagements last year, increasing her workload from previous years.
